Yugezi, a song of Jiao Fang in Tang Dynasty, was later used as a tune. In Jiao Fangji written by Qin Ling in Tang Cui and Dunhuang manuscripts, "fishing" was called "fish", and after Huajianji written in the Five Dynasties, it was called "fishing song". There is a word "Fish Gezi" in Dunhuang manuscript "Yunyao Collection Zaqu", so Ren Erbei called this song "should be a folk song" in Jiao Fang Notes in modern times. And in "A Preliminary Study of Dunhuang Tunes", he said: "This tune is actually the general source of such tunes in the future, and the writing period of" Dunhuang Four Tunes "may be before Zhang."

According to Zhang Chuan in the Tang Dynasty, he lived in rivers and lakes and called himself Jiangbo Fisherman. Every time he goes fishing, he doesn't take erbium. His ambition is not to fish. Zhang wrote five poems on this theme, which were written in the ninth year of Dali (774). The Song Dynasty was a prosperous period for the spread of this tune. Ji Xu wrote six poems based on this tune, named Happy Fisherman, Nothing, Looking at Paintings, Who Learned It, Looking at You, and I Don't Understand You. Su Shi used this tone as a word, praising the fisherman's style, but changed from double tone to single tone. Su Shi also took the lead in using Zhang's fisherman's song to make a sentence, and added words to expand it into "Huanxisha Fisherman", and noted: "Xuanzhenzi's fisherman's words are beautiful and tired of their curvature, so he added a few words to make them Huanxisha songs." This is an attempt to fill the word "fisherman" with another tone. Later, Huang Tingjian also used Zhang's "Fishing Songs" to make a sentence, adding a word, which was expanded into "Partridge Sky, Egrets Flying Through the Cisai Mountain". Song Gaozong and Zhao Gou wrote lyrics with this song, which was named "The Fisherman's Poem". Gao Zhu took this as the key and wrote a poem praising the farmer, which was named "Qiutian Fu Ci".
