Windows Photo Library is mainly used to view, organize, edit, share and print digital photos, and import photos from digital cameras. You can also use Windows Photo Gallery crops photos, removes red-eye, makes color and exposure corrections, and more.

Windows Photo Library is actually a folder dedicated to storing and editing digital photos.

1. Introduction to Windows Photo Library

Windows Photo Library works exclusively with the Pictures folder, which is the primary place where pictures are stored on your computer. Any pictures in the Pictures folder (including pictures that have been imported) will appear in Windows Photo Library.
