Hongze Lake reappears as a mirage. Is it really the reappearance of Sizhou City in history?

Last August, a rare mirage appeared in Hongze Lake. The pictures taken by the photographer in Hongze Lake Bay show that in the southwest of the lake, there is an ancient architectural complex, which is patchwork, very clear and exquisite, with antique octagonal towers, residential houses and green trees and jungles. This spectacular scene attracted many citizens and photographers to stop filming. It really looks like a fairyland. Nature is amazing!

According to Hongze Lake embankment, there is a mirage on the lake, also known as "lake city". The most "lake city" appeared in Hongze Lake in Qing Dynasty. Once it appears, you can see all kinds of mysterious wonders. In the era of underdeveloped science, people have many legends, most of which are believed to be the emergence of Sizhou City at the bottom of Hongze Lake.

Sizhou was built in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty was destroyed by war and rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty. Situated in the lower reaches of the Huaihe River and at the mouth of the Bianhe River, Sizhou City is the throat of the Central Plains and the crossroads of north-south traffic, and its political, economic and military status is very important. In addition, the cause of grain transportation is booming, and a new city has been built on the other side of the Bianhe River next to Sizhou City, which has developed faster and its scale has gradually surpassed that of the old city. In the Ming dynasty, the wall between the two cities was demolished, which made the two cities merge into one. In order to prevent water damage, the earthen city built in the Tang and Song Dynasties was demolished and became a well-preserved underground (underwater) ancient city in the world.

Sizhou City was very prosperous in the Song Dynasty, which was called "running without stopping" in history. In addition, the scenery here is beautiful, court politicians and literati have come here, leaving many famous poems. Because Gusizhou City is a famous ancient town with a long history and numerous historical sites, and it was once a famous Buddhist holy place in China's history, the "Sangha Pagoda", one of the five famous temples in China, was built in Sizhou City (the incarnation of Guanyin in Journey to the West is the "Sangha Master"), making Sizhou Ancient City a famous ancient city in history (the city is full of people).

Sizhou City was still alive in 945 and once ruled four places. Among them, Xuyi has the longest time. In the 19th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1680), the Yellow River seized the Huai River, which made it sink into the country and became the mystery of "Pompeii City in China".

Because of its glorious and heavy history of thousands of years, the ancient city of Sizhou has been covered with layers of mysterious coats for more than 300 years. At the same time, because of its shocking resource taste, it has attracted many Chinese and foreign experts and scholars to explore and pursue.

With the vigorous development of international and domestic tourism economy, many Chinese and foreign experts and consortia are eyeing this resource. However, due to the abundant surface water in Sizhou City, it has been difficult to find the exact location of ancient Sizhou City.

In 2000, with the support of provincial experts in cultural relics, geology and water conservancy, the county party committee and government carried out exploration projects and initially identified four sites of Sizhou ancient city. In order to find out the distribution of the underground ruins of Sizhou ancient city, in 2002, the archaeological team of Nanjing University was invited to conduct a spy project on Sizhou ancient city. After a year of hard work, the mystery of the underwater Sizhou City sleeping for 300 years was finally unveiled.

Seeing this, everyone must feel strange. A mirage has appeared on Hongze Lake. Different from the past, ancient buildings have emerged on the lake this time! Obviously, it can be seen that Sizhou City has been submerged for hundreds of years, and it is absolutely impossible to be such an ancient community. What the hell is going on?

Through investigation, researchers found that there are actually many mirages that have not found the so-called prototype in the real world. Since there is no prototype, how can a mirage be formed because of the refraction of light and other reasons?

With the concept of parallel universe put forward, more and more people think that a mirage may be a reflection of the universes, and the universes may not interfere with each other at ordinary times, but for some specific reasons, time and space are distorted, and the scenes in the parallel universe are projected onto the earth, forming what people call a mirage.
