Stop 1: Dujiangyan Scenic Area

It is of great significance to take Dujiangyan as the first stop of self-driving in western Sichuan. This dam-free water diversion project, built 2,300 years ago, is not only the pride of China, but also a rare work in the world. It is precisely because of the completion of Dujiangyan that Sichuan has jumped from a disaster-prone area to a land of abundance with floods and droughts.

From leaving the pile, you can go to Fulongguan to pay tribute to the stone statue of Li Bing and learn about the great life and achievements of Li Bing, the founder of Dujiangyan. Then go to the bottle mouth, flying sand weir, fish mouth and other core structures to find out; Standing on the Anlan Cable Bridge, you can see the exquisite design of water diversion, irrigation, overflow, sediment discharge and water control, and climb the fifth floor of Qinyan Building to overlook Dujiangyan.

Second stop: Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area (Shuangqiaogou)

The next day: Siguniang Mountain City, Danba County

On the road: the same day 120 km, about 2 hours by car. In rainy months in July and August, the gravel section from Xiaojin to Danba was affected by mountain torrents and mudslides, and road traffic was often interrupted. In this case, Xiaojin (S2 10) can bypass Marcand and Jinchuan (G248) and then go to Danba, and the driving time can be extended to 8.5 hours.

Stop 1: Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area (Changping Valley)

Want to see Four Girls? Then spend half a day walking and cycling into Changping Valley and Haizigou. The 29-kilometer-long Changpinggu is not only accompanied by Siguniang Mountain, but also has quaint and quiet forest beauty such as ancient cypress and dense fir trees. Haizigou is a paradise for hikers. Round-trip 19.2km waterway generally needs 1 day. Along the way, you can explore more than ten alpine lakes such as Huahaizi, Floating Sea and Blue Ocean, among which Chaopinggou at an altitude of 3,670 meters is the best place to shoot Siguniang Mountain.

Second stop: Jiaju Tibetan Village

When the car drove into the territory of Danba County, a strong Tibetan style came to my face. Don't miss Jiaju Tibetan Village, the six most beautiful rural ancient towns in China. Jiaju means a hundred families in Tibetan. Here, more than 100 colorful Tibetan houses are built on the mountain, scattered in the Woods, and smoke billows like a paradise.

There are three observation decks in the village, all of which can capture the panoramic view of Tibetan villages with ethnic customs, among which observation deck 3 is the most convenient for parking, and the hillside behind it is also the best camera position. Of course, the more interesting experience is to visit or live in Tibetan families, taste butter tea, Bazin or Tibetan costumes, and feel the warm Tibetan culture.

It is about 8 kilometers from Danba County to Jiaju Tibetan Village. This section of the road is all dirt roads, and the road conditions are not good, so you need to drive carefully.

Day 3: Danba-Bamei-xinduqiao

On the road: the same day 16 1 km, the driving time is about 4 hours. It passes through G350 National Road (China Panda Avenue) and G248 National Road, and is paved all the way, so you can drive safely. At the same time, this section of the road is also the most beautiful section of the small ring road in western Sichuan. You might as well slow down, walk slowly and look carefully ~

Stop 1: Suopo Diaolou Group

Suopo Diaolou Group, a 30-minute drive from Jiaju Tibetan Village, is also worth a stop. This uninhabited tower group is the most concentrated place of ancient pagodas in Danba and even in the world. Here, you can see the only pentagonal tower in the world.

Qiang people used to use watchtowers to defend the enemy and store grain, grass and firewood, which generally reached a height of more than ten stories. More interestingly, the watchtower has four corners, six corners and eight corners, while in Suopo watchtower you can see thirteen triangles! The best scenic spot is the observation deck opposite the village and across the Dadu River. The towering watchtowers and terraced fields form a beautiful scenery with great momentum.

Second stop: Moshi Park

Millstone Park is a great place on the small ring line. This mylonite formed by crustal fracture activity looks like a strange planet.

After walking or taking the sightseeing bus to the top of the park, you can have a panoramic view of the towering black stone forest, which is magnificent and shocking; Going down the ramp, you can go deep into the plank roads in many inkstones. Among them, the plank road named "Strange Planet" is as famous as its scenery. Next to the plank road is a steep inkstone, which is an excellent station for taking portraits.

When I first went to the scenic spot, I could have a wide-angle panoramic view, and photographed the millstone mountain, the grassland, the distant snow-capped mountain (maybe there was no snow in that mountain when it was hot) and the blue sky and white clouds, which was very shocking.

At the beginning of May, the grass in Moshi Park showed the feeling of matcha mixed with green and yellow. This color looks comfortable and goes well with ink stone.

Going down, you can take portraits near the edge of the prairie above the cliff next to Moshi. It is easy to take pictures, but you must pay attention to safety, because it is really a cliff. There are many thorny plants beside the grass. Be careful not to scratch your clothes or skin. This part is also suitable for aerial photography.

Third stop: Tagong Grassland

Go south along G248, and you will soon meet Tagong Grassland. This is a place that surprises photographers. On the vast grassland, yaks and horses graze leisurely, with white and blue tents dotted among them, and the Yala Snow Mountain stands tall in the distance. When you are on the grassland, your mood will become clear.

Here, you can also feel the most devout and authentic Tibetan belief culture. The Tagong Temple in the south of the grassland is one of the famous temples of the Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, which enshrines the statue of Sakyamuni of 12 years old. According to legend, the Muyajinta, made of 65,438+060 kilograms of gold, shines even more brightly against the snow-capped mountains.

Day 4: xinduqiao-Kangding-Moxi Ancient Town

On the road: 200 kilometers that day, about 5 hours by car. Most of the journey is on G3 18 National Highway, with good road conditions. Due to the heavy traffic on holidays, traffic jams may occur.

Stop 1: Kangding Mugecuo

Kangding Mugecuo Scenic Area is not only the hometown of Kangding love songs, but also a paradise of natural beauty. Mugecuo, also known as "Wild Haizi", is the largest alpine lake in western Sichuan, with an altitude of 3,700 meters. The meltwater of Nuwa Snow Mountain in the back is its main water source. When the water quality is clearest, the visibility can reach 10 meter.

You can take the sightseeing bus to the highest place and visit the core scenic spots in turn: Mugecuo, Yaochi Boiling Spring and Qise Sea. What is particularly interesting is the boiling spring in the medicine pool. You can enjoy the experience of washing your eyes, boiling eggs and soaking your feet in three springs with different temperatures.

After nearly 30 minutes' drive by sightseeing bus, the winding Panshan Highway leads to the top of the mountain. You can see snow-covered tree tops and various small peaks along the way. Second stop: Hailuogou

Hailuogou, located at the foot of Gongga Mountain, the mountain king of Sichuan Province, is the highlight of the West Sichuan Ring Road. It is famous for its low-altitude modern glaciers, and the Great Ice Waterfall in the scenic area is ten times larger than Huangguoshu Waterfall.

In the seaweed of Hailuogou, walking through the virgin forest is the correct way to open it. There are more than 2500 kinds of subtropical and frigid plants around, and the looming macaques, wildebeests and red-bellied pheasants are full of fun. Of course, you must take the cableway to the highest point, Camp 4, and the incomparable Great Ice Waterfall is beside you. Overlooking Gongga Mountain and Guardian Peak, my heart is full of surprises and shocks. In addition, don't miss the Snow Mountain Hot Springs in Camp 2. What could be more pleasant than soaking in wild fish under the ice and snow?

Arrive at Camp 3 on time at 9: 00, and walk directly on the mountain plank road, close to the glacier. I took a lot of photos of "gold 1 hour" on the plank road, and I would unconsciously "wow". 10, the mountain began to fog, and all the scenery was blocked by fog.

Knock on the blackboard If you want to see more scenery in Hailuogou, you'd better arrive at the scenic spot at 7: 00, and there will be nearly 2 hours of sightseeing time before the fog starts.

Stop 1: Luding Bridge

Finally, I passed Luding on my way back to Chengdu. I might as well take a look at the Luding Bridge where the Red Army flew in the rain during the Long March. This suspension bridge used to be the throat connecting Tibet and Sichuan. The whole bridge length is 1, 0 1 m, and the bridge body is composed of 1 3 chains. Although the bottom of the bridge has been paved with wooden boards, it is still rickety when walking on the bridge, and the turbulent Dadu River is at the foot, which is chilling. I can't help recalling the hardships our ancestors experienced in those years.

6. Precautions: Clothing and mountaineering equipment in the four seasons: the temperature difference in western Sichuan is very large. It is recommended to prepare a coat, a fleece coat or a thin down jacket, and bring a raincoat with you as the temperature changes. Long-distance travel in Aden Scenic Area requires mountaineering, so it is recommended to prepare hiking poles and non-slip shoes.

Emergency materials for vehicles in winter: the road surface to western Sichuan is in good condition, and generally no special preparation is needed. However, if you set out in late autumn and early winter, you may encounter ice and snow at an altitude of more than 3000 meters, and you can bring snow chains.

Food and daily necessities: It's a long way in western Sichuan, so there should be enough emergency food, medicine and drinking water in the car, and you can carry light and high-calorie snacks with you to replenish energy quickly.

Sunscreen hat, sunscreen clothing, sunscreen cream: Like Tibet, western Sichuan is also a high altitude area with particularly strong ultraviolet rays. Be sure to do a good job in sun protection, wear sun protection clothes and sunscreen, and sunglasses are also essential.
