Where is the Horqin grassland?
Horqin grassland is located in the east of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. She is adjacent to the Daxing 'anling Mountains in Songtao and connected with the endless Songliao Plain. Named after ancient Mongolian tribes. It is located at 42 5' ~ 43 5' north latitude and117 30' ~123 30' east longitude. It is 250 ~ 650 meters above sea level and located in the triangle between the west bank of Xilamulun River and Laoha River. It is high in the west and low in the east, stretching for more than 400 kilometers and covering an area of about 42,300 square kilometers. It is under the jurisdiction of Wengniute Banner, Naiman Banner, Aohan Banner and Zhelimu League Kailu, Tongliao, Horqin Left-wing Houqi and Kulun Banner in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
