Will azaleas get wet after pruning?

Rhododendron can't get wet after pruning. Through the bonsai art network, we know that rhododendrons not only need to be placed in a cool and ventilated environment to slow down seedlings and avoid sun and rain, but also need to manage water and fertilizer well. However, for the potted rhododendron which has just been pruned, it is not advisable to water it immediately, let alone fertilize it, otherwise it will easily lead to wound infection on the branches, or cause back pumping, leading to dead branches. If the basin soil is dry, water it properly in time, but don't pour it with water. Generally, basin soil can be soaked in water. Otherwise, too much watering will not only cause the water in the basin to rot the roots, but also make the branches accumulate too much water, which will increase the chance of infection after pruning, thus leading to the rot and death of the branches. Therefore, the cuckoo can't get wet after pruning.
