Five skills of landscape photography
First, look for beautiful light.
Light is the soul of a photo. As long as you grasp the right light, your wind will be different! If you take pictures of beautiful places at noon, your photos will still be boring, but if you take pictures at dusk or sunrise, even the most ordinary places can take wonderful works.
Second, it contains a clear theme.
The second element to pay attention to is that the photo should contain a clear subject. Although it seems easy to understand, it is also easy to be ignored. When you see beautiful scenery, you will naturally want to shoot some flowers, trees, rivers, mountains and so on. In this way, the photos will become very messy and lose the focus of the readers.
Usually after arriving at a scenic spot, it is best to see what is the most attractive: the reflection of the lake? Is it a yellow flower in green? Is it a flowing stream? Then use it as the theme of the photo, which can obviously highlight the protagonist.
Third, the concise background.
What is the second point? A clear theme? Similarly, a simple background can help you avoid confusion and distractions. When shooting a simple background, we often have to change the angle, so that we can get satisfactory results when composing the composition.
Fourth, interesting and changeable composition.
Painting starts with a blank, and then slowly adds elements, while photography is just the opposite. We should try our best to get rid of unnecessary things. So what elements can be used for composition? You can refer to the picture below.
Lines, knots, textures, geometry, light and shade, contrast, you can try to include one or more elements in the composition, and you will also take beautiful photos!
Five, make good use of gradient gray filter (GND)
When shooting scenery, especially during the day, the light ratio between the sky and the ground will be great. At this time, if you shoot directly, the sky is overexposed or the ground is underexposed, you can make good use of the gradient gray filter (black card can be used for long exposure), which can not only shoot the ground, but also preserve the details of the sky, and the overall feeling will be much more professional. Don't try!
