Nanxun is hard to find, but Nanxun Town is hard to find.

I am a photographer, and I like to take photos in ancient towns. A few days ago, I went to Nanxun Town alone with my camera. Before I went there, I searched a lot of travel guides about Nanxun on the Internet, including what scenic spots there are, how about food and snacks and so on. I thought it was not much different from other ancient towns, but I found Nanxun is really a difficult and clean place. So, what about Nanxun Town?

The biggest difference between this ancient town and other ancient towns in Jiangnan lies in the combination of Chinese and western architecture. In the past, the former residences of celebrities we saw were all typical Chinese buildings, while the luxury houses in Nanxun Town were all ordinary western-style buildings with white walls and black tiles, but they were colorful when they walked in.

What impressed me most was the old house in Zhang Shiming. The outer wall of this mansion is so high that I can't see anything inside at all. Walking in for the first time is like walking into an ordinary big house. However, the deeper you go, the stronger the western color. There is a luxurious ballroom with French oil paintings hanging on the wall in the lobby of the fourth entrance of the mansion.

From glass to Klines iron column, it embodies the architectural style of Europe in the eighteenth century as a whole, which is very spectacular.

The feeling that Nanxun Town gives me can be described in four words, that is, "doing things calmly". Although there are so many magnificent scenery hidden, the overall feeling is quiet and solemn. I don't know how to express it accurately. Anyway, it is not as commercialized as other ancient towns, but more of a preserved folk custom. You can always see all kinds of folk handicrafts on the road, and your body and mind can be clean in Nanxun. This is really a good place to look.
