On July 1, Wufang Village, Qingcun Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai, ushered in an art event - the Fengxian Huangtao Charity Cultural Festival opened grandly here.

At the beginning, Shanghai Bailao Meritorious Art Troupe brought everyone the magnificent symphonic wind music "Song of the Yangtze River". This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The art troupe also performed a song and dance show "My Motherland and Me" to pay tribute to the motherland, which triggered a collective chorus from the audience and the atmosphere was very warm. "Comparing Hearts" by Dong Shiyun, a young singer living in South Korea, was welcomed by many audiences, and the children in the audience also compared "love" to her. Singer Yao Yucheng who participated in the CCTV Avenue of Stars and champion Xu Wenting sang "Blue and White Porcelain" and "Hairhead Phoenix" respectively. The ancient rhyme style complemented the architectural style of Wufang Village.

The folk dance of the Xianyun Lantern Rolling Team in Tuolin Town, Fengxian, Shanghai, and the rolling lanterns flying up and down also brought a new experience to the audience. The finale of the one-man show by the famous comic artist Mao Mengda not only brought laughter to the audience, but also pushed the atmosphere of the whole venue to a climax. Shanghai's famous magician Xiaoxue and film and television rock singer Aaron also appeared at the opening ceremony to support the Fengxian Huangtao Charity Cultural Festival.

At the opening ceremony, the instant photography competition was also in full swing. Nearly 30 photography artists used their cameras to depict Wufang Village in their own eyes within a limited time of one hour. From mid-July to September, it is the season when yellow peaches are ripe. Thousands of acres of peach orchards are filled with plump yellow peaches, creating a natural beauty of harvest. Some buildings in Wufang Village retain their original architectural features, the most typical of which is the "Sanzhi Hall", which is Wufang Village's own "history museum" and still retains the old-fashioned cornices from the Republic of China period. On the roof, a deep sense of history comes to your face. In the park, there is also a studio opened by Wu Qun, a well-known Shanghai Yue opera actor, in Wufang Village. These have become the best materials for photographers to create. In the end, more than 60 entries were taken from different angles, giving the rural scenery of small bridges and flowing water a more layered beauty.

With countryside scenery and wonderful music, the Fengxian Huangtao Charity Cultural Festival will last until the end of August. In addition to the wonderful performances of many artists, there is also a creative market that embodies the cultural wisdom of the villagers: peach blossom wine, yellow peach wine, yellow peach facial masks, yellow peach old tree root carvings, as well as hats and T-shirts printed with the mascot of the Huangpeach Music Festival. T-shirts, canvas bags and other cultural and creative products are exquisite and practical, and are popular among tourists. In addition, music appreciation, open-air movies and other activities have been launched one after another to create an artistic summer for tourists.

Fengxian yellow peach is a general term for yellow peaches produced in Fengxian. It currently specifically refers to yellow peaches of different maturity stages including Jinxiang, Jinyuan, Jinxiu and Jinhua. The advantages can be summarized as: sweet, big, round, yellow, and fragrant.
