What is the golden section in the photographic structure and how should the photos be laid out?
What is the golden section in photographic composition? An excellent photographic work should not only have a profound theme and content, but also have a beautiful form and a harmonious composition consistent with the content. Beginners of photography, understanding and mastering the golden section method in framing is very helpful to improve the aesthetic value of their works. The golden section method is to divide a straight line into two parts, and the proportion of one part to the whole is equal to that of the rest. Approximate proportions of 2: 3, 3:5 and 5: 8 are often used in artistic design and photographic composition, also known as Huang Jinlv. In photographic composition, the common method is to draw two straight lines parallel to the edge, horizontal and vertical, and divide the picture into nine equal squares, which are called nine squares (see the figure below). The four points where a straight line intersects a horizontal line are called golden section points. According to the experience, arranging the main scene near the golden section can give full play to the organizational role of the main scene on the screen, which is conducive to the coordination and connection of the surrounding scenes, easy to cause aesthetic feeling, produce better visual effects, and make the main scene more distinct and prominent. In addition, people have a habit of looking at pictures and books and periodicals, that is, looking from left to right, the line of sight often falls on the right, so it is best to put the main scenery and eye-catching images on the right when composing. Beginners can choose "golden section method" to practice composition. After many times of practice, with my own experience and understanding, I can create my own works according to the actual situation. If everything is the same, it is not advisable to mechanically copy this form. Over time, it will bind your creative thinking and stabilize the photos. No change, poverty and tasteless, no artistry. Using the golden section method to determine the position of the subject does not complete the whole process of composition. We should also pay attention to arranging the necessary space, consider the echo of the subject and the accompanying scenery, and fully express the ideological content of the theme. At the same time, we should also consider hue, light treatment, color expression and so on. In order to improve basic skills, study aesthetic knowledge seriously, and strengthen aesthetic cultivation, we constantly sum up accumulated experience through shooting practice, and strive to shoot more photos with high artistic effect, and see how the photos should be typeset: go to any website such as China Photography Network! The key is to see more, practice more and ask more questions.
