Taking photos always feels awkward. How can I pose them so that the photos look natural and beautiful?
Think about it~ To take beautiful photos, you don’t necessarily have to have a beautiful face. The following techniques can help you.
Skilled photographer: everything has beauty
Vivid and lively pose: don’t be a dull papaya
1. Avoid keeping your head and body in one line straight line. If the two are in a straight line, it will inevitably feel dull. Therefore, when the body is facing the camera, the head should be turned slightly to the left or right, so that the photo will appear elegant and vivid; similarly, when the subject's eyes are facing the camera, the body should be turned to a certain angle. The angle will make the picture look lively and dynamic, and increase the three-dimensional effect.
2. Avoid keeping your arms and legs parallel. No matter whether the subject is sitting or standing, never let the arms or legs be parallel, as this will make people feel stiff and mechanical. The appropriate approach can be all the way or both at a certain angle. In this way, it can create a sense of movement and a variety of postures.
3. Try to keep the body curves clear. For female subjects, it is necessary to show their charming curves. The usual approach is to have one leg of the character actually support the weight of the whole body, and the other leg is slightly raised and leaning against the standing leg. The arm should be turned around to show its narrowest side, and the chest should be through The curve of the waist should show its height and fullness as much as possible. At the same time, one hand of the character can be placed on the hip to provide the necessary width to the picture.
4. Avoid sinking in the sitting position. When showing the subject's sitting posture, do not let him or her sit in the chair with the whole body as usual. If so, her thighs will be in a resting state, so that the fat part of the upper legs will bulge, making the legs look thick. The correct approach is to move the patient's body forward, sit close to the edge of the chair, and keep the chest up and the abdomen in. This can avoid the phenomenon of drooping shoulders and protruding belly.
5. The camera should be far away rather than close. Generally speaking, when taking portrait photos, it is better to be farther away than closer. Because when the lens (especially a short focal length lens) is very close to the subject, distortion will occur. Therefore, when taking photos, you should choose a lens with a suitable focal length and keep a certain distance between the lens and the subject. Based on practice, we know that if you use a standard lens to take a head portrait, the optimal distance should be between 6---8 feet; for a chest portrait, the optimal distance should be between 8---9 feet; for a full-body portrait, the optimal distance should be 13--- Between 22 feet is appropriate.
6. Show good hand posture. The subject's hands do not occupy a large proportion of the picture, but if placed improperly, it will destroy the overall beauty of the picture. When shooting, pay attention to the integrity of your hands and avoid making them feel deformed, broken, or incomplete. For example, when you put your hands on your hips or put them in your pocket, part of your fingers should be exposed to avoid giving the impression of being cut off.
Learn slowly, it’s very practical! Once you master these, you will be able to take photos~
