Take a perfect panoramic photo.
It is very simple to make panoramic photos now. You just need to take a series of photos and put them in Photoshop, and the software can help you make them. Only when shooting, we still need to pay attention to many problems to ensure the smooth stitching in the later stage. The most basic skill is to ensure the camera level and undifferentiated exposure.
Taking panoramic photos is really tedious, but when you master these basic skills, post-synthesis becomes very easy, and you will also get a sense of shock that conventional size photos can't give you.
Adjusting tripod
Before placing the camera, set up a tripod. Adjust the tripod to an appropriate height and ensure its stability. Then adjust the length of the foot tube to ensure that the center column is vertical and the platform is horizontal. Install the camera after all levels on the tripod are level.
Calibrate camera level
It is not enough to just calibrate the tripod. In order to be foolproof, it is necessary to fine-tune the level of the camera. We use a two-way level. If you find that the camera is not level, you may need to reposition the tripod. The more troublesome the early stage, the more convenient the later stage.
Set camera parameters
Use a small aperture, such as f/ 16, to ensure the depth of field, measure the light against the brightest area in the panoramic photo, and then use the manual exposure mode to set the exposure parameters just obtained. At this time, it is best to use the RAW format and the lowest possible sensitivity, and turn on the exposure lock function when shooting.
Take panoramic photos
When shooting the panorama, make sure that there is a partial overlap of 1/3 to 1/2 between the two photos. Look at the photos taken, check whether the horizon is horizontal, whether the photos are colored and the exposure is different. Turn on the display histogram function to see the smallest exposure problem.
