American black and white photographer (before 1950s and 1960s)

Ansel adams is a member of "f64" group. Members of this group often carry heavy homemade f64 aperture cameras to take photos all over the world. The most famous work is The Moon and the Half Moon.

More than 30 years after the publication of this work, many photographers came to the location where the "f64" team filmed in that year with advanced equipment, and re-photographed the moon and the semicircle mound, but they were not as good as the original.
