When I use D80+24-70 lens to shoot a moving object, it is out of focus and virtual focus. What should we do?

The answer upstairs is correct, but this usage is too old, since the invention of cameras and focusing systems.

There is a function of your machine that you have not fully utilized, that is, continuous servo autofocus. You used a single autofocus, a half-shutter autofocus, and locked it at the same time, but the object was moving, out of your focus range, and the film was empty.

The machine is set to C (there is an S C M on the left side of the lens to turn the toggle switch to C). As long as you grasp the moving object and press the shutter half, the machine will automatically focus continuously with the movement of the object. You wouldn't be out of focus.
