What are the classifications of portrait photography?

Portrait photography is generally divided into four portrait types: portrait, performance, environment and plot:

1. Portrait: This is a basic form of portrait. In this portrait photography, the photographer tries his best to make the subject beautiful or attractive. You can usually pose or take a snapshot. First of all, you should consider the light consumption of the face and background, then manipulate the posture, choose the lens and shooting angle.

2. Portrait performance: "performance" refers to reflecting a viewpoint in shooting, and this viewpoint comes from the photographer's unique feelings about the subject. This kind of portrait photographers are not satisfied with the "five senses distribution" of the characters' faces, but try to reveal the richer contents of the characters. Portraits of performance and environment are sometimes called "editing" portraits. This term first appeared in Early Life magazine and Observation magazine. Works of this style still occupy an important position in books and magazines.

3. Environmental Portrait: Environmental Portrait is to put people in their environment, which can show more things than close-up portraits in a flat background. It can provide clues for the author to explain. Because it contains human environmental factors, it increases the interest of the work.

4. Plot portrait: In the plot portrait, the subject plays a role in the scene created by the photographer or himself. Theme villages can learn from the lives of characters, or they can be interesting fictions.
