Three articles on measurement practice experience

Under the diligent arrangement and guidance of all the teachers, I successfully completed the long-awaited control measurement internship. Looking back on the past six weeks of internship life, I feel I would like to thank both the teachers for their hard guidance and my classmates for their selfless help. In the internship, there is hardship but also joy, there is sweat and gain, and there is help when there are difficulties. I think the most important thing is that I learned a lot of things during the internship and gained a lot of experience. These things I cannot learn in books. Next, I will talk about my thoughts and experiences on control measurement internship.

Through this controlled surveying internship, I first learned a lot of basic surveying and mapping methods and techniques, and improved my surveying and mapping skills. This will lay a solid foundation for my future career in surveying and mapping, and enable me to I am confident about my future. First, I learned the use and calibration methods of second-class precision levels; I learned the layout and measurement methods of precision level nets; I learned the recording methods of precision level measurements; I learned the national standard requirements for precision level measurements, and understood the social standards The tolerance requirements in the surveying and mapping industry will be more stringent in the future; the leveling network closure calculation and the leveling network adjustment calculation have been reviewed and consolidated. Second, I learned how to use and calibrate a precision theodolite; I learned how to measure precision angles; I learned how to record fourth-degree angle measurements; I reviewed and consolidated the calculation of horizontal angle closure and angle adjustment methods. Third, we strengthened and consolidated the use of total stations and the data input and output methods; learned the layout and measurement methods of fourth-grade wires; reviewed and consolidated the calculations and adjustment calculations of wires. Fourth, review and consolidate the principles, measurement methods and calculation methods of trigonometric elevation survey; review and consolidate the calculation of closure error of trigonometric elevation survey and the adjustment calculation of triangular elevation network. Fifth, I came into contact with commercial adjustment software for the first time, mastered the adjustment software using wires and level nets, and understood the adjustment principles and methods of the software. Sixth, understand the whole process of GPS control measurement operations, master the GPS network layout method, master the GPS static measurement method and data collection, master the static data processing method, GPS baseline network calculation and network leveling. Different calculation

, learned the method of coordinate conversion through software; understood the principles and advantages of the CORS network, mastered the data processing method of the CORS network; learned the GPS-RTK dynamic measurement method, and became familiar with Understand the RTK mapping mode and operation process, master the method of using RTK for field mapping, and once again consolidate the potential of using CASS software to draw topographic maps. In general, while exercising practical ability, the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom was consolidated, theory and practice were organically combined, and theoretical level and field operation ability were improved.

Secondly, I also learned many things that cannot be learned in books and have nothing to do with surveying and mapping. For example, it has expanded its communication skills and solidarity and cooperation skills with classmates and teachers. During those four fulfilling weeks, everyone had their own rare experience. This kind of internship, which can only be completed by team strength, really made us feel a lot. To complete a measurement internship task completely, it is far from enough to rely on the strength and ideas of one person. Only with close cooperation and a high degree of unity in the group can the internship task be completed quickly and efficiently. This control measurement internship also made me truly realize that our group is an indivisible whole. The cooperation of group members is very important. The atmosphere of the internship group directly affects the progress of the internship to a large extent. And these cannot be experienced outside of measurement practice. What the team members need most at this moment is mutual understanding, trusting others, and getting along well with those who are working together for the same goal. This is how a successful team accomplishes its mission well. There, I would like to thank the other 5 members of our second group. Everyone has helped me and trusted me. Each of us has treated others in this way, so our group has a strong sense of responsibility. Strength, the task was completed in a timely and perfect manner. Our team atmosphere is really good, and the internship that was originally a bit difficult has become full of fun.

In addition, the cooperation between Tianbao Company and Chang'an University has undoubtedly given us a lot of exposure, and we have seen the most advanced instruments currently on the market - Dini levels, S8 total stations, and R8 GPS receivers. In just three days of internship, I learned to use these advanced instruments, experienced some new measurement methods, and understood their working principles. These instruments have indeed greatly improved the efficiency of field measurements and reduced the difficulty of field personnel's work. There is nothing to be afraid of in the future. Our instruments will become more and more advanced, and our work efficiency will become more and more advanced. Even if the working environment remains the same, there will be new methods and new technologies, which will make the boring and hard work less difficult. Surveying can be full of challenges and expectations. Therefore, rather than saying that it opened my eyes, it is better to say that it made me full of expectations for my future surveying and mapping career and strengthened my confidence in my future work.

In addition, this internship made us truly feel the hardships of surveying and mapping. Especially in Taibai Mountain, we were exposed to the harsh sunshine for seven or eight consecutive days of sunny weather. Whenever sweat soaks through clothes under the scorching sun, someone will joke that "the sweat I'm sweating now is because I had water in my head when I signed up to volunteer."

But complaints are complaints, no one just rested and enjoyed themselves under a parasol; no one shouted to quit; no one said that it was too hard and would not do surveying and mapping in the future; no one... I think, it is precisely because of the advance Feeling the hard work, everyone began to exercise their bodies and hone their will to endure hardships from now on. Being able to understand this is enough to illustrate the necessity of this control measurement internship, and everyone has worked very hard to learn all the knowledge that the school expects us to learn.

This GPS internship is indeed what I have been looking forward to for a long time, because since I started studying digital mapping in my sophomore year, I have heard the teacher talk about the comparison between conventional digital mapping and the emerging GPS measurement technology. GPS It has many advantages, which greatly improves the efficiency of surveying and mapping work, and the advent of GPS surveying technology has also made earth-shaking changes in the work of surveying and mapping personnel in the field, making it much simpler than before. Every time I hear this, I am eager to get in touch with GPS as soon as possible, and I can't wait to learn GPS measurement methods. In my junior year, I came into contact with photogrammetry and remote sensing, which are also emerging surveying technologies. They are also subjects and technologies that make surveying and mapping field work simpler and more efficient. This strengthened my confidence in the future. Finally, I started studying the course "GPS Measurement Principles and Applications" this semester. In class, I was exposed to many measurement methods and many principles. Since I only understood the principles and concepts without specific cognition, I learned very poorly. Therefore, through this internship, I not only have a deeper understanding of GPS measurement principles and various measurement methods, but also mastered the methods of GPS field data collection and in-house data processing.

During the GPS control measurement internship process, our group also encountered some troubles. After observing the third synchronization ring of static measurement for 40 minutes, the receiver at point A003 suddenly ran out of power. The boring and boring work of keeping watch becomes even more speechless when mixed with such trivial matters. We initially thought about leaving it alone and just using the data collected in these 40 minutes for processing. But after a short discussion, we decided to replace the battery and start testing again. This is a responsibility to another cooperative group, to ourselves, and to the surveying and mapping business we are engaged in. This incident taught us to be responsible and tempered our patience. At the same time, I understand that the condition of the battery and instrument must be checked repeatedly before GPS measurement. You cannot arrive at the measurement area and only find out that you cannot measure it until you start working. This will greatly affect the progress of the work. This little trouble really benefited us a lot.

In addition, during the GPS network adjustment process, after many attempts and tests, the final network adjustment result passed the F test. I kept trying over and over again, and several times I almost lost confidence and didn’t want to continue. But fortunately, I persisted in the end and finally got a qualified result. The F test reached 0.31 (F test critical value 0.97). I was very satisfied and felt proud and proud of my perseverance and final success. Rejoiced. This also tells me that I must have the courage to constantly try new knowledge, and must be patient and perseverant. As long as you work hard enough, an iron pestle can be ground into a needle.

The GPS internship that I had been looking forward to was finally completed. Overall, it did not disappoint me. What I complained about was that the timekeeping work was too boring and boring. I saw many students sleeping on mats next to the receiver, playing computer games and even playing cards. I think this will damage the image of us surveyors. In the future, we can choose to read books or memorize words. Because of the importance of guarding work, it is impossible not to guard it, so we have to try our best to choose things that are beneficial to do. Except for this bit of disappointment, the rest are new gains and satisfactions. Compared with the conventional measurement methods used in previous internships, GPS does have too many advantages. Convenient, fast, efficient, high-precision, time-saving, and labor-saving... This measurement method has brought about epoch-making changes in surveying and mapping work, especially RTK measurement, with its centimeter-level plane point accuracy and one-second measurement time. The hard work in the field has been alleviated to a great extent. It makes us students who will engage in the surveying and mapping industry full of confidence and expectations for the future.

This control measurement internship is not only an improvement of practical ability, but also a comprehensive consolidation of theoretical knowledge. Let us deeply understand the truth that "theory guides practice, and practice promotes the development of theory." In general, this internship allowed us to experience the hardships of surveying and mapping outside the industry and the rigor of the inside industry; mastered various knowledge and precautions for control measurement; understood the importance of unity and cooperation; and experienced the current surveying and mapping in advance. Industry market; learned how to endure hardship and stand hard work. Through the internship, I learned a lot of knowledge, and most importantly, I truly strengthened my belief in engaging in surveying and mapping in the future. As a result, I am even more hopeful for the future.

Finally, I sincerely thank the teachers for their hard guidance during the internship. Your efforts will always remain in my heart.

 Second

After three years of college, most people still have very little knowledge of this major and are entangled in measurement and control technology and instruments. At the end of the sophomore year, the college had We organized a one-week internship, but because the knowledge we learned at that time did not involve much knowledge of this major, it was difficult to connect what we saw with this major. Many students were always confused about this major.

This summer, the college originally planned for us to go to Shanghai for internship, but due to the sudden atypical epidemic, the entire plan had to be rescheduled. After the efforts of the college, Shunde was finally selected as our internship base.

What are measurement and control technologies and instruments? What kind of work is this major suitable for? What is the future of this major? With these questions, we participated in this production internship.

This production internship was led by three teachers, Zha Xiaochun, Huang Aihua and Li Mian. There were a total of four classes in the measurement and control major, and more than 150 people participated in the internship. I left for Shunde on June 30 and stayed at Fengcheng Middle School in Daliang, Shunde.

It is really exciting to come to a strange place for the first time in three years. The middle school where we live has a very good environment. Since it is a middle school and it is summer vacation, it is very quiet there. , it's really a good place to study. I just want to carry out my own network engineer plan during my internship, so that I can save time.

This internship was scheduled to be three weeks, but due to some unexpected things, the trip was eventually shortened to two weeks, and this production internship was four weeks in the teaching plan, so the remaining The two weeks must be made up in the next semester!

During the two-week production internship, we visited Shenling Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd., Shunte Electric Co., Ltd., Midea Dishwasher Company, Liansu Technology Industrial Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Hongli Machinery Co., Ltd. , Shunde Kewei Electronics Co., Ltd., Guangdong Forging Machine Tool Factory and other large factories to understand the production status of these factories, various knowledge related to this major, the working conditions of workers in each factory, etc.

For the first time, I personally experienced the practical application of the knowledge I learned, the application of sensors in air-conditioning equipment, the application of electronic technology in the electronics industry, the application of precision machinery manufacturing in machine manufacturing, etc. The combination of theory and practice is an eye-opener for us. It’s also a preliminary review of the knowledge you’ve learned before!

This production internship has really benefited us a lot in our future study and job hunting. In just two weeks, we have initially allowed us to return to rational understanding and emotional understanding, and it has also given us a preliminary understanding of This society also provides some inspiration for the direction we should take as a person in the future!

Shunde is a beautiful place with transportation routes extending in all directions. Perhaps this is the reason why Shunde continues to rank first among the top 100 counties in the country! Of course, there are also reasons for whether its system is sound and whether social security is perfect! It was also the beginning of our first involvement in society, heading towards a perfect and cruel future. I have always believed in my potential. Even if the road of life is like the highways extending in all directions in Shunde, there is only one direction, and that is to move forward, never give up, and never retreat. !

As a basic professional skill, civil engineering surveying is a skill that our civil engineering students must master well. In order to improve our surveying and mapping capabilities and better connect practice and theory, the Department of Urban Construction launched a two-week engineering surveying internship for us.

Our purpose is to control the measurement of a small area. The instruments used include theodolite, level, ruler, tripod, etc. We are also grateful to the school for equipping us with advanced equipment to enable us to measure more conveniently. total station. Through this measurement, I consolidated and deepened the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom, mastered the operation of various instruments, and reached a certain level of proficiency. As an outdoor professional internship, we have gained experience, which has paved the way for us to enter the society in the future. More importantly, it has cultivated our spirit of being hard-working, independent, and finding problems by ourselves to solve them through our own efforts. It improves the computing potential of complex data. These things cannot be learned in ordinary classrooms, but they are so basic and important. From this, I have to think of the saying that practice is the standard for testing truth.

Engineering surveying is a complicated job, and it is not enough to rely on the strength of one person alone, so through this internship, I thoroughly understood that measurement is a team work. Our team *** has 7 team members. We must give full play to everyone's strengths in order to make the work more efficient. As the team leader, I am responsible for arranging the tasks of each team member, setting a plan for each day's work, and also Keep in touch with your teacher. I think every student who has passed the internship will be deeply impressed on this point.

It is inevitable that there will be quarrels between husbands and wives, and between brothers. Our group gets together every day, and we have different opinions and different approaches, which will lead to conflicts and make everyone unhappy, but we Be able to communicate and understand in a timely manner, forget the unpleasantness, and get back to work again. The purpose of the school arranging our internship is to enable each student to use the theoretical knowledge he has learned to actually operate the instrument. Therefore, we must learn from each other and ask if we don’t understand. It is not to rush for time or progress. Otherwise, even if the internship is over and the homework is completed, the school teacher's goals and expectations for us have fallen behind in the past two weeks.

In the measurement process, we are extremely accurate. Every data has been tested. We will never proceed to the next step without verification of the previous step.

To give a simple example, every time the instrument is measured, it must be centered and leveled. This seems to be a simple task, but it must be precise and precise. As long as we don’t pay attention to moving the instrument a little, we will This step must be repeated, otherwise it will cause data errors and affect the final measurement results. There are also some things that many people ignore and we must not ignore. How many manhole covers are there on the road and what is the distance between them? The smaller the things, the more they can show the working attitude and potential of a team. Unity is strength. Every morning we get up early and start a busy day of work. When we encounter problems, we solve them together. If there are errors, we study them, analyze the reasons, and take the trouble to repeat measurements. With everyone, we are full of energy.

When I think back to that time when I was measuring, I think it was a unique landscape on campus. I carried instruments on my back every day and ran around. Once when I came back, I was affectionately called a professional technician by my classmates. One important thing I want to say here is that the weather was very cold during the days we measured, and it snowed in the first two days. Measuring in the cold wind was really painful, but since we chose this major, we There is absolutely no possibility of retreating, touching the cold instrument and carrying out the measurement to the end. Surveying and mapping is an arduous profession, and you cannot achieve success without sweating and enduring hardship! This internship also taught us a lot of lessons: due to the misreading, misremembering and miscalculation of certain data, we have suffered A lot of troubles have made us understand that we must be serious and have a rigorous attitude in everything we do. As the saying goes, "attitude determines everything." The unity of a group is also crucial, as it is related to the progress of the entire group. Previously, due to lack of tacit understanding and unreasonable division of labor in our group, the overall progress was greatly affected. Later, through communication within the group, the above problems were completely solved. The progress of the internship has been greatly improved, and the progress and results have naturally improved.

I cherish this opportunity given to me by the school. There are not many such opportunities during my college years. If we don’t seize every opportunity, when we enter the society and work in the morning, we will definitely fail. regret. The drawings that I usually see sometimes feel unclear. After the internship, it is easy for you to connect the physical objects and the drawings, and it will be easier and easier to learn this major. In short, thank you to the teachers and classmates. I will remember this unforgettable experience. It will always be one of the treasures of my life.
