Sundarbans is a natural wonder of the world.

Sundarbans lies at the junction of Indian and Bangladeshi. In Bengali, "sundarbans" means "beautiful forest" with an area of 1 330 square kilometers.

Sundarbans is a virgin forest, which has hardly been artificially cultivated so far. Nature has shaped it into an elegant artificial forest area that has been carefully managed. Overlooking from the air, stretching for dozens of miles, towering trees form a dense crown.

Sundarbans has the largest mangrove forest in the world. The humid tropical maritime climate makes the plant species extremely mixed, and there have never been so many plant species anywhere.

Hidden coastal waters and intricate labyrinth rivers outside mangrove swamps are home to a large number of reptiles and aquatic mammals. Including river turtles, lizards, crocodiles, Ganges dolphins and finless dolphins.

Sundarbans is also an important transit point and wintering ground for many coastal birds, such as seagulls and terns. It supports more than 30 kinds of predatory birds, including white-bellied sea eagle, snake eagle and jade belt sea eagle.
