Border regulations

All countries in the world stipulate the management system of border areas through domestic laws or by signing border system treaties with neighboring countries. Generally, there are national (border) border management system, conference system, household registration management system, access system, public security management system, joint defense system in border areas and so on. By signing border system agreements with neighboring countries, the procedures, methods and cooperation mechanisms for handling border-related affairs through consultation between the two sides are stipulated. According to the provisions of Article 22 of the Land Border Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the China People's Liberation Army and the Chinese People's Armed Police Force perform border guard tasks, exercise control, organize drills and surveys, resolutely guard against, stop and crack down on invasion, occupation, infiltration and provocation, guard land borders and maintain border security and stability. Article 28 In accordance with the provisions of this Law, the establishment of cross-border cooperation areas such as economy, trade and tourism in border areas or the development of cross-border cooperation activities shall meet the requirements of border management and shall not endanger border security. Article 29 In case of important situations and problems in land border and border management, relevant local people's governments and military organs shall immediately report to higher authorities in accordance with regulations.
