You can also go there by train. 2. From Liuzhi to Suojia Township, it runs every 2 hours from 7:30 in the morning to 16:30 in the afternoon, 15 yuan/person, you can negotiate the price if there are many people, the journey takes 2 hours, and the road conditions are average. 3. Changjiao Miao customs are mainly concentrated in Longjia and several surrounding villages. The Ecological Museum (ticket 5 yuan/person) is in Longjia. The hike from Suojia Township to the museum is about 4.5 kilometers. It is an uphill gravel road, which is easier to walk. You can also hire a three-wheeled motorcycle to go there for 10 yuan/vehicle.

Accommodation 1. In Suoga, you can stay in the ecological museum with beds for about 20 yuan/person. Facing the mountains, the view is wide. But if there is no water supply on the mountain, the accommodation conditions will be relatively poor. 2. If you want to camp, you can choose the newly completed Longjia Primary School. There are running water and toilets near the school, and the primary school playground is a good camping spot. 3. Opposite Longjia Primary School, there are several rows of newly built and uniform stone houses. These were poverty relief houses built by the government more than a year ago. Many villagers have moved here, so it is also called Longjia Xinzhai. You can discuss with fellow villagers to stay in their homes, but you must have sleeping bags, moisture-proof mats and other equipment, because fellow villagers usually do not have extra beds. In addition, don’t eat and drink for free at a fellow villager’s house.

Travel Tips 1. Longjia is only one of the twelve villages. Most of the other villages have no roads, but are connected by mountain roads. The closer ones are Xiaobatian, Gaoxing, Xinzhai, and Guanjian. It’s two to three kilometers, so you can ask for a guide or ask for directions. The appearance of the villages is similar, except that the villages further away from the road look poorer. 2. When entering the village, Miao girls will hold sheep and ox horns filled with rice wine and toast at the door. After drinking the first ram's horn, if the visitor can't drink any more, he or she will pass the ram's horn back with its tip pointed upward. 3. It is not a festival, a day for going to the market or a wedding day. It is rare to see a headdress in a bun, and it is more common to wear a wooden horn. If you want to see the hairstyle or take pictures, you can ask the museum staff to help you contact them, or you can go to the village and ask a girl to do the hairstyle yourself. Considering that it takes at least half an hour to complete the order, and a person is required to help with the order, the asking price of 10 yuan is reasonable, and it is worth confirming the person in advance to avoid misunderstandings. 4. When someone in the Miao family is sick, outsiders are not allowed to enter the house. When you see a dustpan at the door of the house with a stick tied to a piece of grass, it means there is a sick person in the house. Do not enter casually. 5. It is understood that not many people come to Suojia in normal times. There will be some tourists on May Day and National Day, and most of them are during the Chinese New Year, because at that time there is a traditional flower dance in Changjiao Miao.
