Introduction to Jifang Island:

Jifang Island is located in the southeast of shuidong town, Dianbai County 14.5km. Formerly known as Fenzhou Mountain, also known as Zhoushan Bay. The highest point on the island 122 meters high. With an area of 1.9 square kilometers, it is the largest island in the county. Legend has it that immortals once grazed chickens here, so they built a temple to worship them. After that, all the navigators visited here, offering sacrifices to the born chickens, hence the name. Jifang Island is located at 2 1.23 degrees north latitude and 0/1.00 degrees east longitude. It is the only island in eastern Guangdong that leads to Zhanjiang and Beibu Gulf. A solar lighthouse with a distance of 15 nautical miles is built at the top of the highest peak on the island.

Ji Fang Island is olive-shaped, 2 kilometers northeast and southwest, with the widest 0.9 1 km, the narrowest 0.1km, the coastline 5.96 km, the highest top elevation 135 m (northeast), and the area 1.9 km2.
