Introduction to jnto.

These activities include setting up tourist service centers, providing support for foreign tourists, increasing facilities for receiving foreign tourists, and promoting the holding of international conferences and trade exhibitions. Our bureau achieved its goal by carrying out tourism-related research, publishing Japanese travel guide books and video materials, and publicizing the precautions for traveling abroad to Japanese nationals.

As a neutral national tourism administration, Jnto has been holding overseas tourism exhibitions, inviting overseas travel agencies and overseas educational institutions to participate in and promote Japanese study tours. Even for VJC cooperation activities sponsored by transportation bureaus or tourism bureaus all over Japan, our bureau will assist these institutions to choose travel agencies and collect relevant information of travel agencies. After each VJC activity, overseas offices will continue to follow up the results with relevant units or personnel.

At present, jnto has 65,438+03 overseas offices in the major tourist markets in the world, and various activities are carried out through these overseas offices, including information collection, promotion, media contact, publicity and promotion, etc. This is also an important activity to promote VJC. By displaying VJC posters and distributing VJC badges in tourism exhibitions and various activities, and promoting the use of VJC logo in the leaflets of local travel agencies, Japan National Tourism and Tourism Administration actively promotes overseas understanding of VJC activities.

In order to support tourism and media in various places, most overseas offices always provide the following services:

◎ Provide all kinds of travel brochures for relevant units or personnel free of charge to publicize the latest information about traveling to Japan and Japan;

◎ Lend the winning 16mm color film or video tape to relevant units or personnel to broadcast to their customers for publicity;

Lend video media (billboards, posters and other supplies) for use by relevant units or personnel when carrying out various publicity activities;

◎ Provide advice and help to the tourism industry or relevant personnel on Japanese tourism;

Invite and arrange relevant units or personnel to attend or participate in various exhibitions, study groups and exchange groups.

Jnto actively provides various kinds of assistance to relevant local units and personnel overseas by operating 65,438+03 overseas offices, as shown below. Each office will carry out the above business within its jurisdiction in order to provide the latest information related to Japanese tourism to tourists, tourism industry and media.
