Where is Little Song Cun located?

Song Cun Junior High School is located in the south of Dongying District, 3 kilometers north of the town government. The village is bordered by Provincial Highway 2 13 Xinhe Highway in the east, Shikou Town in the west and north, and Dongsui Village in the south.

The name of the village comes from the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369). Song Hui and Song Yun moved to this village from Zaoqiang County (now Hebei Province) in Zhili. Because there is a Victoria Song village 3 miles northwest, it was named Dongsong. In the early years of the Republic of China, because Song Cun Jr. was smaller than Victoria Song Village, it was renamed Song Cun Jr.

The population and surname of the village are 1035, and there are 648 people surnamed Song, followed by Wang, Shang, Gao, Li, Liu and Sui.

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, some members of the Gao family were forced by life to travel around Kanto with their wives and children and moved to Harbin, Heilongjiang Province to settle down. Later, some people in the Song family moved away one after another.

After three years of natural disasters, more than 30 families, including Song and Shang, set up Xiao Song's house in Huanghekou Town, Kenli County. With the development of society and the improvement of people's life, most immigrants have moved back to Little Song Cun, but a few families are still living in Huanghekou Town, Kenli County.

Near Little Song Cun, there are tourist attractions such as Longju Yellow River Forest Tourist Area, Hualin Manor, Dongying Shengli Oilfield Science and Technology Exhibition Center, Dongying Vientiane Amusement Park, Dongying Yue Long Lake Scenic Area (Dongying Swan Lake), and other special foods such as hairy crabs in the Yellow River estuary, Mawan watermelon, swordfish in the Yellow River estuary, Shikou roast chicken and Portunus trituberculatus.
