What should I do if I lose my Hong Kong and Macao Pass in Hong Kong?

Mainland residents who encounter the loss or damage of their Hong Kong and Macao Pass during their stay in Hong Kong can apply to the Shenzhen Entry-Exit Visa Office of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department for a one-time valid entry-exit pass to return to the Mainland through Hong Kong China Travel Agency.

Procedurally, the parties concerned should report the loss to the nearest police station as soon as possible, and go through the formalities in person with the report of loss.

The following materials shall be submitted when applying:

1. Provide the lost report of Hong Kong Police Station;

2. Submit a completed and signed application form for People's Republic of China (PRC) Entry-Exit Pass, which can be obtained directly from China Travel Agency;

3. Submit the applicant's relevant photo identification documents, such as: resident ID card, copy of the original Hong Kong and Macao Pass, and household registration book; If it is damaged, it is necessary to submit the original entry permit and endorsement to Hong Kong and Macao, and submit a copy 1 copy;

4. Submit 2 color photos of myself;

5. After receiving the temporary permit, you must go through the departure formalities in person at the Hong Kong Immigration Department in Wan Chai before leaving Hong Kong (to confirm your stay in Hong Kong).

When obtaining the license, the parties concerned shall go to China Travel Agency to obtain a one-time valid entry and exit pass, and return to the mainland according to the time of obtaining the license with the receipt. After obtaining the documents in Hong Kong, the parties concerned need to go to the Hong Kong Immigration Department to go through the relevant departure procedures. It should be noted that during the application for documents in Hong Kong, if it is possible to overstay the stay, the parties concerned should also go through the formalities for filing the extension of stay with the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
