Wutai Mountain is a well-known Buddhist resort at home and abroad, and it is the Dojo of Manjusri Bodhisattva. Xiantong Temple, the main attraction of Wutai Mountain

Located in the center of Taihuai Town, it is the oldest and largest temple in Wutai Mountain and the second temple in China after Baima Temple in Luoyang. The temple was built in the 11th year of Yongping, Emperor Hanming, and was originally named as Dafu Lingjiu Temple. It was expanded during the reign of Emperor Wendi of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Because there was a garden beside the temple, it was named Garden Temple. In the Tang Dynasty, Wu Zetian recorded Wutai Mountain in the new translation of Huayan Jing, which was renamed Dahuayan Temple. When Ming Taizu was rebuilt, it was given the "Great Xiantong Temple". Now it covers an area of about 12 mu, and there are more than 4 buildings of various kinds, with a huge scale.

Bodhisattva Peak

is located on Lingjiu Peak on the north side of Xiantong Temple. Looking up at the steps from bottom to top, it is like a ladder, reaching directly to the Vatican Yulin Palace on the top of Bodhisattva. According to legend, Manjusri Bodhisattva lived on the top of the mountain, so it was named Bodhisattva Top, also known as manjusri temple.

Wanfo Pavilion

Train

There is a direct air-conditioned special line in Beijing to Wutai Mountain. The price of hard seat is 7 yuan, and it will arrive overnight. Highway

Visitors who come to Wutai Mountain from other places can go to Taiyuan first.
