At present, residents of 49 cities in China can apply for individual travel (G) Hong Kong and Macao Pass. They are: Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong Province (the whole province), Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Fuzhou (urban area only), Quanzhou, Xiamen, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu, Jinan, Qingdao, Shenyang, Dalian, Nanning, Haikou, Changsha, Guiyang, Kunming, Nanchang and Changchun. Other urban residents can apply for group tour (L) Hong Kong and Macao Pass.

It is worth mentioning that at present, residents in most parts of China cannot apply for personal travel endorsements to Hong Kong and Macao. However, since both Hong Kong and Macao provide 7-day visas for free transit to third countries or regions (mainly Taiwan Province Province), friends who travel to Hong Kong and Macao and transit abroad can use this method, which not only meets the needs of free travel, but also saves the cost of handling Hong Kong and Macao passes.
