Brief introduction of Mount Tai
Mount Tai was regarded by the ancients as a paradise "directly to the throne" and became a sacred mountain worshipped by the people and emperors. There is a saying that "Mount Tai is safe and the world is safe". There are more than 20 ancient buildings and more than 2,200 stone tablets on the mountain, which is a resort for Buddhism and Taoism. Temples and historical sites of the two major religions are all over the mountains, which has become a highlight of Mount Tai.
Daimiao Taishan is the largest and most well-preserved ancient architectural complex. Its main buildings, Tianzhu Hall, Taihe Hall of the Forbidden City and Dacheng Hall of Confucius Temple, are collectively called the three major halls in China.
