Wanfenglin is located in the southeast of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province. In 2008, Wanfenglin was approved as a national 4A-level tourist attraction by the National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee. It is a national scenic spot, a national AAAA scenic spot, the five most beautiful peaks in China, and the first batch of industrial and agricultural tourism demonstration areas in the country. In 2009, the China Tourism Television Association listed Wanfenglin as "the most desirable place in China".
Wanfenglin is an important part of the Maling River Gorge, a national scenic spot.
