When will beijing-zhangjiakou intercity railway start construction?

Zhang Intercity Railway, which leads from Beijing North Railway Station, passes through Tsinghua Campus, Qinghe and Shahe to Changping, turns to the northwest via the north side of the south exit, passes through Jundushan (New Badaling Tunnel) with the longest tunnel 14.59km, passes through Guanting Reservoir in parallel along the existing Beijing-Baotou line, and finally reaches Zhangjiakou South Station via Shacheng, Xiahuayuan and Xuanhua in the northwest. The total length of the new line is 168.646 km, including 6 1.633 km in Beijing and 0/07.013 km in Hebei. There are 9 stations in Beijing North, Tsinghua Campus, Qinghe, Changping West, Dongyuan South, Shacheng, Xiahuayuan North, Xuanhua East and Zhangjiakou South. The project is expected to invest 30 billion yuan, which will be jointly invested by the Ministry of Railways, Beijing and the governments of Hebei and Zhangjiakou. After the project is completed, the running speed of the EMU will reach 300 to 350 kilometers per hour. By then, it will only take less than 1 hour from Beijing to Zhangjiakou, which will greatly shorten the time and space between Beijing and Zhangjiakou.

Beijing-zhangjiakou intercity railway will start construction in August 2009, with a construction period of about two years. Coincidentally, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway 1909 10 was opened to traffic on 10, and the whole line began to operate. 100 years later, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, which once shocked the world, will turn a new page and continue to write a new history of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway.

Recently, Zheng Xuebi, Mayor of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, told reporters about the regional economic cooperation between Beijing and Zhangjiakou, saying that Zhangjiakou supplies more than 6.5438+0.8 million tons of pollution-free off-season vegetables to Beijing every year, of which the supply of vegetables from July to September accounts for 40% of the Beijing market. More and more Zhangjiakou agricultural and sideline products will enter the Beijing market and appear on the dining tables of Beijing citizens. With the opening and operation of beijing-zhangjiakou intercity railway, the traffic from Beijing to Zhangjiakou will be more convenient, and Zhangjiakou will be included in Beijing's "one-hour life circle". The city will encourage and guide the capital of Beijing to build a base for sightseeing, leisure, holiday and recuperation in Zhangjiakou, and build a "back garden" in Beijing, which will become a good place for Beijing citizens to enjoy leisure and sightseeing.

Zheng Xuebi, mayor of Zhangjiakou City, said that Zhangjiakou has good conditions to provide high-quality agricultural and sideline products for Beijing, with long sunshine time, large temperature difference between day and night, long vegetable growth period, few pests and diseases and high nutritional value. In recent years, Zhangjiakou has attached great importance to the application and management of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the production of agricultural and sideline products, so the vegetables produced in Zhangjiakou have many kinds, good quality and no pollution, which can well meet the market demand in Beijing. In 2008, in order to ensure the sufficient supply of agricultural and sideline products in Beijing during the Olympic Games, we signed the Framework Agreement on Cooperation in Vegetable Production and Marketing (2008-20 12) with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Agriculture, launched a special activity of "Vegetable Supply in a Dam in Beijing and Hebei" and launched a large-scale "Send Vegetables to Beijing" campaign, which made active efforts to ensure the supply of agricultural and sideline products in Beijing during the Olympic Games.

Zhangjiakou is rich in tourism resources and has many tourist attractions. At present, the city has a world-class ski resort. Cultural tourism includes Nihewan ancient human site, Dajingmen and other ancient Great Wall sites, as well as Bashang summer tourism and Chongli four-season tourism, which can be visited all year round. Zhangjiakou will focus on the construction of Bashang grassland ecology, Chongli-Chicheng ice and snow hot spring resort and Sangyang Valley wine culture and leisure area. The tourist product routes of the two places will be integrated with each other, and grassland scenery, winter skiing, wine manor and ancestral culture will be arranged together with Badaling and other scenic spots in Beijing.
