Archives of Quanzhou Archives

The Quanzhou Municipal Archives currently holds 134 complete archives with nearly 80,000 volumes, including 1 complete archive of revolutionary history with 7 volumes; 1 complete archive of the Republic of China with 120 volumes; and 132 archives after the founding of the People's Republic of China. A complete collection of more than 70,000 volumes. The carrier forms of archives include paper archives, magnetic archives and some physical archives.

(1) Revolutionary historical archives

Revolutionary historical archives mainly include the development of underground party organizations in central Fujian and their distribution in Quanzhou from 1928 to 1949, as well as the sources of underground party funds and their management Documents, party member registration forms, correspondence, etc.

(2) Archives of the Republic of China

This collection collects the archives of the National Haijiang School, Jinjiang Private Peiyuan Middle School, Quanzhou Hospital, Huishi Hospital, etc. before 1949. School archives mainly include student status files and school magazine information. In addition, there are also directories of local Kuomintang personnel at all levels and the appointment and dismissal of relevant personnel, student status tables of security training institutes, criminal case files of the Kuomintang government, and materials on the destruction of underground party organizations in the Communist Party of China. .

The archives of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China are the party and government organs, social groups, enterprises and institutions since the liberation of Quanzhou City The archives formed reflect the city’s political, economic, cultural, educational and urban construction history over the past fifty years. The main contents include policies, regulations, and decisions formulated by the municipal party committee, the municipal government, and their respective work departments regarding industry, transportation, agriculture, forestry, fishery, urban management, science, culture, education, health, sports, etc.; meeting minutes; Party congress and National People's Congress materials, reports, resolutions, plans, summaries, situation reports on government work, election work, and united front work, archival materials on cadre appointment and dismissal, party disciplinary sanctions, organizational establishment, and system adjustment; various annual reports and statistical reports ;Materials for meetings of workers, youth and women; materials for commending advanced and selecting model workers; materials for corporate business basic situation, economic situation briefing, investment reform, etc.; materials for preferential treatment, placement of demobilized servicemen, labor deployment, labor wages, recruitment, etc. Notices and regulations; management regulations, plans, summaries, notices, forms and accounting files, census, marriage registration, industrial census and other professional archival materials in aspects of overseas Chinese affairs, religion, culture, education, health, etc.; urban planning, water conservancy construction, environmental protection Investigation and other scientific and technological archives; archival materials formed during the "Three Antis", "Five Antis", interrogation of cadres, elimination of counterrevolutionaries, "rectification", "social education", "Cultural Revolution" and other movements, etc.

In addition, the Quanzhou Municipal Archives has also established special archives such as inscriptions, celebrities, major events, and impressions. The library has collected more than 30 inscriptions by national leaders and celebrities, most of which are originals. Among them are : Mr. Sun Yat-sen’s inscription to Peiyuan Middle School in 1920 was “*** Enter Datong”; Soong Ching Ling’s inscription to Peiyuan Middle School in 1980 was “Treat people for the country”; inscriptions by former party and state leaders such as Li Peng and Li Lanqing; Xie Juezai, Inscriptions by Fei Xiaotong, Zhu Xuefan and others encouraged the people of Quanzhou to carry forward the Quanzhou spirit, revitalize the economy, develop education, and build a new socialist city in Quanzhou. At present, the museum has collected nearly 100 volumes of archives of 23 Quanzhou celebrities. These archived celebrities include calligraphers, writers, medical experts, agricultural experts, performing artists, etc. The main contents of the archives include various certificates, medals, Autobiography, deeds, photos, works, etc. Major event files refer to the collected archives of some major events in the city in the past ten years, such as the "Maritime Silk Road", "Art Festival", "Tourism Festival" and other activities. The impression archives mainly include the discarded work seals of some party committees and government agencies since the liberation of Quanzhou. There are currently 311 seals in the collection.

(4) Audiovisual and physical files

The Quanzhou Municipal Archives preserves many audiovisual files, including more than 5,000 photos, and 120 audio, video, and CD-ROM files. plate. The main contents of the audio-visual archives include: Quanzhou City’s economic construction, cultural and artistic activities, major historical events, inspections and inspections by leaders at all levels over the past 50 years, etc.

In addition, there are more than 700 physical archives in the collection, including calligraphy and painting, inscribed plaques, utensils, artworks, seals, etc. These items are mainly used by the Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government in various external exchanges. , gifts received from all parties in foreign affairs activities, and some items are donated by enthusiastic people in the society.

The Quanzhou Municipal Archives has more than 20,000 volumes of materials, the main contents of which include: compilation of policies and legal documents, and the Quanzhou Municipal National Economic Statistical Yearbook; Local historical records; materials on religion, hometown associations, research associations, and overseas Chinese affairs; newspapers (People's Daily, Fujian Daily, Quanzhou Evening News, and some newspapers from the Republic of China period), publications, and materials on urban planning, meteorology, natural disasters, etc. The books mainly include public books (including philosophy, social sciences, politics, economics, history, geography, literature, laws and regulations), reference books, Quanzhou local history, genealogy, etc.
