Title: Travel with Poetry

Reading Comprehension:

The author of this book, Hao Juanhan, introduced China's famous geographical cities and beautiful scenery through appreciating poetry. If you have a travel plan but don't know where to go, you can read it and learn from it. For example, I really want to go to Guangxi and Lijiang after reading it.

The author has selected 3 cities or scenic spots in terms of culture, scenery, architecture, food and so on, which are basically familiar to us, such as ancient capitals, famous mountains and famous rivers. I have been to some of them, but I found that it seems that the place is more beautiful with poetry.

for example, Yangzhou. I went on a graduation trip with my best friend in my senior year. What impressed me the most was the boat on the Grand Canal at night (I didn't make it, but I kept thinking about it), the Confucius Bridge in the Slender West Lake, which disappointed me a little, and the delicious food in the busy streets (I was on a poor trip, and I ate duck neck for a long time, but I still kept thinking about it, haha). Reading the author's description today, I have an impulse to go to Yangzhou next March.

Yellow Crane Tower a farewell to meng haoran on his way to yangzhou

Tang Li Bai

An old friend left the Yellow Crane Tower in the west, and fireworks went down to Yangzhou in March.

The solitary sail shows the blue sky in the distance, and only the Yangtze River flows in the sky.

the southeast wins, and Yangzhou wins the most. The shear wave of Slender West Lake solidified the starry sky, the mountain flowers in daming temple blossomed in the setting sun, Geyuan watched the autumn wave and the garden, and the slate of Dongguan Street was like a lamp winding thousands of years ago. In March, the fireworks flew over and stood on the river, singing Huaiyang with a lonely sail, the blue sky was everywhere, the Yangtze River sky flowed far away, and the rolling waves were not just the love of folding willows.

Although I don't feel as romantic as the author, the significance of traveling is not only to enjoy places I have never been, but also to think and know myself better when I leave my familiar places. Reading Yangzhou today, I seem to have returned to that year. My mother insisted on going with us because she was worried that it was not safe for us two girls to travel alone. As a result, when she came back, she said with emotion, you are really grown up, and everything is arranged in an orderly way. I am relieved to go anywhere in the future (mainly to praise my best friend). Although it's not me who praises me, I still feel a pride of being recognized by my parents.

So I haven't had a chance to feel the gentle and charming throb of Yangzhou, but Yangzhou is also a place where important changes have taken place for me.

Finally, there are so many good words and sentences in this book that friends who need to practice description can read more.
