Must-see spots for tourism in Muli County

1, Gongga Snow Ridge and Baishui River

There are more than 900 peaks at an altitude of more than 4000 meters in Muli. The highest peak is the "immortal is the three brothers of the sun" with many magical legends, that is, the immortal is the sun, the central Maiyong, and the Charoladorodje. Among them, the tourist attraction is Gongga Snow Mountain (Charlotte Dorje) located in Qila Village, Shuiluo Township, and there is no snow all year round.

2. Yunnan Fort Waterfall

Located in Shawan Township. Shaded by green trees on the mountainside, a waterfall runs down like a runaway wild horse, forming a strange two-stage waterfall and a mist that goes straight into the sky. People nearby have the custom of "turning water" here every year.

3. Plateau lakes

There are more than a dozen natural and beautiful plateau lakes in Muli, the most famous of which are Ding Dong Haizi, Cunduo Haizi (Changhai), Nido Haizi and Basang Haizi.

4. Primitive forest area

Muli has various natural and geographical conditions and is rich in forest resources. The forest coverage rate in the county is 67.3%, and the standing stock is 65.438+0.05 billion cubic meters, accounting for 1% of the whole country, and110 of the whole province, ranking first in the country in terms of counties. It is an important water conservation forest in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and one of the original forest areas in China.

Once you enter the Muli primeval forest area, ancient trees are towering, covering the sky, tall and straight Chinese fir forests, dense and tall pine forests and dense layers of hard broad-leaved forests. At first glance, it looks like an undulating green ocean, which is a natural oxygen bar.

5. Guanmen Mountain

Guanmen Mountain, located in Ding Jiao Town, is named after the three cliffs which are strewn at random and look like a closed door. Xiaojin River, a tributary of the Yalong River, flows down the river between the three mountains, with rugged rocks on both sides, and is known as the "Little Three Gorges".
