Article 5 of the "Regulations on Compulsory Scrapping Standards for Motor Vehicles" stipulates that the service life of various types of motor vehicles are as follows:

(1) Small and micro taxi passenger cars are used for 8 years, and medium-sized taxis are used for 8 years Passenger cars are used for 10 years, and large rental passenger cars are used for 12 years;

(2) Rental passenger cars are used for 15 years;

(3) Small coach passenger cars are used for 10 years , medium-sized coach buses are used for 12 years, and large coach buses are used for 15 years;

(5) Other small and micro buses The operating passenger vehicles are used for 10 years, and the large and medium-sized operating passenger vehicles are used for 15 years;

(8) Three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks equipped with single-cylinder engines are used for 9 years, and other cargo vehicles (including semi-trailer tractors and full-trailers Tractors) are used for 15 years;

(9) Special operation vehicles with cargo-carrying functions are used for 15 years, and special operation vehicles without cargo-carrying functions are used for 30 years;

For small and micro taxi passenger vehicles (except pure electric vehicles) and motorcycles, relevant departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government may formulate regulations that are stricter than the above-mentioned service life based on local actual conditions, but small , Mini passenger taxis must be no less than 6 years old, three-wheel motorcycles must be no less than 10 years old, and other motorcycles must be no less than 11 years old.

There is no service life limit for small and micro non-commercial passenger vehicles, large non-commercial cars, and wheeled special mechanical vehicles. The starting date of the service life of a motor vehicle is calculated based on the registration date. However, if the registration formalities have not been completed for more than 2 years since the date of leaving the factory, the starting date will be calculated based on the date of leaving the factory.

1. A registered motor vehicle shall be forcibly scrapped under any of the following circumstances:

(1) The service life specified in Article 5 of these regulations has been reached;

(2) After repair and adjustment, it still does not meet the relevant requirements of the national motor vehicle safety technical standards for in-use vehicles;

(3) After repair and adjustment or the adoption of control technology, pollutants are emitted into the atmosphere Or the noise still does not meet the relevant requirements of national standards for vehicles in use;

(4) Failure to obtain the motor vehicle inspection mark within three consecutive motor vehicle inspection cycles after the expiration of the inspection validity period.

(1) Small and micro passenger taxis have traveled 600,000 kilometers, and medium-sized passenger taxis have traveled 500,000 kilometers. , large rental passenger cars have traveled 600,000 kilometers;
