Huangshan Shitan Village Travel Guide

Shitan Village, Xiakeng Town, She County, Huangshan City, is a little-known characteristic ancient town. There are a large number of ancient Huizhou buildings here, which are popular tourist destinations for tourists. They attract the attention of many tourists and are worth exploring for many people.

There are not only mountains and waters here, but also the beauty of mountains and waters. At the same time, there are also historical and cultural buildings here, coupled with beautiful scenery, it is a true paradise.

This is Shitan Village in Shitan, located in Xiakeng Town, She County, Huangshan. Now, it is a famous place in Huangshan to watch the sea of ??clouds. The altitude here is not high, only more than 200 meters, but there are two large rivers at the foot of the mountain.

So even if it doesn’t rain here, you can often see the sea of ??clouds. According to my local friends, there are almost 200 days of clouds here a year.

However, due to many reasons such as insufficient publicity, the vast majority of people who go to Shitan will only stay at Xiatai Observation Deck and Hushan Ridge. Even many local villagers do not understand photography and weather changes. Know the location of the sea of ??clouds.

So this also led to the real Shichi being ignored by everyone. Fortunately, my friend Lao Wu from Shitan has been photographing the sea of ??clouds at Shitan every day for decades. Under his guidance, I basically knew all the photography spots in Shitan.

In Shitan, in addition to seeing the sea of ??clouds, there are also many small villages worth visiting for photography enthusiasts (Shitan was once a township unit). There are several villages that are uninhabited due to geological problems or lack of transportation.

There are also many hollow villages and Huizhou folk houses with a certain history. These ancient villages are not only excellent places for ancient village photography, but also the best photography locations in Haiyun Village.

However, compared with the surrounding Mulituan Village and Poshan Village, the development of Shitan is not satisfactory. Although Lao Wu and many other local villagers who love their hometown have done a lot, the development of Shitan and the other two villages has been disappointing.

But to be honest, I prefer Shitan, not only because of its ever-changing landscape and numerous observation points, but also because of its numerous ancient villages, which are the most typical representative of uninhabited ancient villages in southern Anhui.

There are more clouds in Shitan during this period, and the probability of heavy clouds is relatively high. If you want to see different clouds and ancient villages in southern Anhui, come to Shitan. You won't be disappointed.
