How beautiful is the dream of tropical tourism?

Going to xishuangbanna tourism is the dream of many people. Elephants, peacocks, bamboos in the moonlight, banana leaves that can be torn into long strips, dense tropical rainforests and rubber trees all over the mountains are like green dreams; The red ribbon tied with the dream soul is the mellow and moving melody of cucurbit silk. With the melodious sound of cucurbits, let's feel the charm of Xishuangbanna together in the joyful and intoxicated words of tourists!

Jinghong city appearance

Jinghong city is small but neat. There is a sculpture at the intersection of downtown: four elephants. On both sides of the street are modern high-rise buildings and quaint pavilions, and the green belt is full of oil palm with the highest oil production. The park is very ordinary, and I have no special impression. The only thing I can't forget is the grilled fish on the barbecue stall in the park. Fish belly is filled with pepper and a local spice, which is a bit like onion and smells delicious. This special smell made me swallow my saliva.

People here are gentle and generous. The day after I arrived in Banna, I was deeply touched by such a thing: my coach was driving on a mountain road when suddenly two mountain bikers appeared opposite and rushed towards the car. The car slammed the steering wheel to avoid it when braking. Although the bicycle slowed down on the muddy ground, due to inertia, people and Xiangqian Che still took a 360-degree tumble and then fell heavily on the ground. I was afraid that they would be seriously injured, but I saw that they had got up from the ground. As if nothing had happened, they smiled at the people in the car. It seems that quarreling is inevitable. However, the frightened driver just asked gently and kindly, "Is the brake broken?" The young man was a little embarrassed: "There is no brake." The tone of the two sides is as calm as neighborhood gossip, and then they go their separate ways. I am used to seeing some noisy scenes, but what I feel here is only friendliness and tranquility. After a week in Xishuangbanna, I have forgotten what a quarrel is.

A night rain washed away the asphalt-paved Panshan highway, and the air was filled with the smell of soil and grass. Next to the road is the tall iron knife wood. The dense leaves are wet and glowing in the sun. The trees are full of flowers, and a large yellow area is dotted with lush Shan Ye. From time to time, grazing cows are eating grass on the roadside, which is an idyllic scenery.

The road passes through a large virgin forest, but the valley is deep, the ancient trees are lush, the warblers in the forest are whispering and the birds are singing. On the roadside, a stream accompanied us on the winding mountain road. The stream is not cold, but it is lively and lively.

Visit Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden

Don't come to Xishuangbanna unless you look at the tropical forests in Xishuangbanna. Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden covers an area of 1 12.5 square kilometers, and its scale is quite spectacular. In the dense coconut grove, the mature coconut trees are tall and straight, and the trees are covered with attractive fruits, which are scattered with delicate and lush coconut seedlings, and set each other off in an interesting way. Sunlight sneaked down from the crack in the canopy and fell to the ground.

The botanical garden contains almost all tropical plants. Butterflies, betel nuts with three herbs, banyan trees with roots, sky-looking trees pointing to the sky, coral grass with pearl-like fruits, and phoenix flower trees with various customs are all colorful. Some palm trees are as big as a hut with only one palm leaf; The pod of an unknown leguminous tree is fifty or sixty centimeters long, which makes people doubt its authenticity. "Mysterious fruit" can turn sour taste into sweet taste, "wind grass" can dance with songs, and there are mangoes, lychees, bananas, cycads and other trees. ...

I also saw red beans that I have heard so much about here. This is what the poem says, "When those red berries come in spring, they wash the branches of your southern country". Strolling under the tree, pondering ancient poems and experiencing the lovesickness caused by the ancients have a different taste.

Happy Olive Dam

There are several well-preserved Dai ancient villages in Banna, among which Olive Dam is particularly famous. Olive Dam is located in Han Meng, a place called in Dai language. This is a dam of 50 square kilometers. It got its name because it looks like an olive. Lancang River runs through the center of the dam from north to south. Olive Dam is 530 meters above sea level, with bloom in four seasons and green mountains and green waters. This is the most representative place of Dai residents in Xishuangbanna, with a natural, simple and quiet beauty.

Walking into the gate of Olive Dam Village, Mao Duoli and Shao Duoli, dressed in gorgeous national costumes, stood on both sides, blessing and welcoming distant guests to the village with Dai language and Dai songs. We strolled along the village path. Exquisite and chic Dai wooden houses and Buddhist temples are hidden among coconut trees and green trees. Tropical fruit trees such as bananas, mangoes and lychees are planted around the wooden house, as well as tall and straight coconut trees, slim betel nuts and enchanting canna, which makes the Dai wooden house particularly beautiful.

Guided by the tour guide, we tourists came to A Dai's home, and we were received by "Lao Miantao" (a respectful name for middle-aged and elderly women in Dai language) and sentries. We sat on the guest room floor above their wooden building. After Lao Miantao and Shao Duoli made us a cup of hot glutinous rice tea, Shao Duoli introduced us to the customs of the Dai family and warmly welcomed us into the village. Then they took out their handmade silver ornaments, such as silver bracelets and necklaces, and sold them to us. Everyone bought some favorite jewels as gifts so that they could go back and feed them to relatives and friends. We bid farewell to the old cotton peach and whistle and came to the village square. We heard cheerful drums and voices from the square in the distance. Looking around, we saw a group of Dai men and women in national costumes dancing happily with the beat of gongs and drums and the rhythm of sheng and Hulusi. We couldn't help but join the song and dance team, imitate their dance, and take photos with them from time to time, leaving beautiful memories. ...

When the joy reached its climax, there was a frolic sound in the center of the square, and the traditional Dai festival "Water-splashing Festival" began. I saw many tourists around the fountain in the center of Olive Dam Square. They put on Dai costumes and joined the local Dai people, each holding a basin, scooping up the water in the fountain pool and splashing it on each other. Some of them were divided into two groups to form a water fight, all of them were soaked like "peacocks falling into the water", enjoying themselves and being immersed in joy, leaving all their troubles and worries behind, leaving happiness and joy. This is also the auspicious blessing of the Dai family to our tourists.

A temple full of incense

Dai people believe in Hinayana Buddhism, and pyramid-like temples can be seen everywhere where they live. Especially the "Octagonal Pavilion" located next to Jingzhen Village, Mengzhe Township, Menghai County. Located at the top of a dome, it belongs to a Buddhist temple and a national cultural relics protection unit. It was founded in A.D. 170 1 year, with a history of nearly 300 years. The Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion is exquisite, gorgeous and unique. It is a masterpiece of Hinayana Buddhist architecture and a symbol of the artistic level of Dai architecture in ancient Xishuangbanna. The main entrance is arched, and there is a scroll niche above the arch, where a bronze Buddha statue is enshrined. On two doors made of Toona sinensis boards, Dai-style sun flowers and Shuanglong twisted tail patterns are carved respectively. A wooden ladder is connected to the stone steps in front of the door, and a lion and a dragon stand on each side. The lion bares its teeth and claws, and the dragon wags its head and tail, which is lifelike. The octagonal pavilion is a brick-wood structure, which consists of five parts: seat, body, eaves, surface and roof. The base is zigzag, with a pavilion height of 2 1m and a base diameter of 10m. It is divided into 8 large faces and 365,438+0 small faces, forming 32 corners and 24 walls to form the pavilion. The indoor and outdoor walls are printed with gold and silver powder, and the roof of the pavilion is a multi-storey eave with a conical pyramid roof structure, 12 pieces. More than 300 years before the Buddhist temple, the bodhi tree witnessed the vicissitudes of Xishuangbanna, and the pilgrims in the Buddhist temple were like clouds, and the incense continued.

Generally speaking, Dai boys have to cut their hair and become monks from the age of five, become monks in temples, be baptized by Buddhist education, and worship Buddha, which is very devout. The monk's head can't be touched. It is disrespectful to touch a monk's head. They think touching his head will erase his intelligence and aura. Pilgrims and tourists must take off their shoes when they enter the temple. Pilgrims are woven in the temple, and incense is filled all day long. Worshippers face the gods and silently pray for their best wishes. May the gods bless their happiness and well-being! Because of this, Dai people worship and respect two kinds of people, the first is a monk, and the second is a person with glasses. Monks are representatives of the gods, while people who wear glasses are often learned people and are called professors, but people who wear sunglasses are not welcome. Dai people joked that "professors wear glasses and wild animals wear sunglasses". It can be seen that the Dai people respect knowledge, advocate modern civilization and ancient Buddhist culture, and are smart and humorous.
