The difference between cultural tourism and leisure tourism

Leisure is defined as “activities outside of work, with freely available time and money, chosen independently, to obtain a healthy and pleasant experience.” Leisure travel is also for the purpose of obtaining healthy and pleasant experiences. Experience travel activities, the key to leisure travel is to be relaxed. Leisure travel avoids the "crowds" of scenic spots and goes to "soak" quietly for a few days in nature with grasslands, mountains, rivers and lakes. There are no fixed sightseeing projects or a full itinerary. What is pursued is the soul. Completely relaxed. Leisure travel usually involves a family or some very close friends or colleagues going on vacation to a place close to where they live.

Cultural tourism is neither a product nor very different from tourism culture. The key to so-called cultural tourism is culture, and tourism is just a form. The "culture" of cultural tourism should be interpreted as the characterization of the effectiveness of tourism and the purpose of tourism. Therefore, cultural tourism can be defined as: the behavioral process of realizing the purpose of perceiving, understanding, and experiencing the specific content of human culture through tourism.

Cultural tourism is a term that has only emerged and become popular in recent years. Its emergence is closely related to the changes in tourist needs. Therefore, its currently more popular definition is “those tourism activities with humanistic resources as the main content, including historical relics, architecture, national art, folklore, religion, etc.” There is also a saying that cultural tourism is a type of special tourism and is a major tourism activity integrating politics, economy, education, science and technology.
