Scenic spots in Gui Qingshan National Forest Park

Located near Bama Village, Caotan Township, 72 kilometers away from Zhangxi 'an County. The whole scenic spot is 15km long from north to south and 2-5km wide from east to west. It connects the surrounding 18 villages, so it is also called "the 18th village in Guiqing". Gui Qingshan is the most beautiful natural scenic spot on the Loess Plateau in central Gansu. Now it is a provincial forest park, known as "Little Huashan" in central Gansu.

Gui Qingshan, known as "Guiqing Wonderland" in history, consists of two scenic spots, Gui Qingshan and Guiqing Gorge. It is the leading natural scenic spot in Gansu Province. The scenic area is home to many rare birds and animals with towering peaks, towering ancient trees, lush trees, numerous waterfalls and springs. There are 99 species of trees and shrubs belonging to 29 families and more than 500 species of medicinal plants in this area. There are more than 200 acres of Gu Song in Zen Forest alone. There are more than 20 kinds of national protected animals such as leopard, bear, Sumen antelope, golden pheasant and blue pheasant.

Guiqing's fairy rhyme and unique natural landscape; The three peaks are surrounded by green, the pines in the valley, the washing in the pool and the hanging moon in the Zen forest are the most charming. Guiqing Canyon is connected to the top of the mountain by ladders and stone piles. The whole canyon is 8 kilometers long from north to south and only 60 meters wide from east to west. Shili Guiqing Canyon, just like Shili Gallery, has strange peaks and rocks, winding streams, trees that cover the sun, practice-like waterfalls, changing scenery and various manners.

The scenic spots in Gui Qingshan include Zen Forest Gui Yue, Poxi Xianqiao, Eye-washing and pond-clearing, turning trees into dangerous roads, western scenery, three peaks surrounded by green, stone stacks passing through clouds, Lingyan Ancient Cave, Fang Ou Songtao and Buddha Bell. Along the way, there are places of interest such as dishuiya, Buddha Cliff and Living Tiger Temple. Located 29 kilometers west of Zhangxi 'an County, it is a unique natural scenic spot, which consists of strange canyons and caves at the intersection of the western end of Qinling Mountain and Minshan Mountain. It consists of three scenic spots, Xixi, Dongxi and Yimen Mountain, with a total area of more than 30 square kilometers. There are strange peaks and rocks, streams and waterfalls, deep caves and deep valleys, and more than 20 scenic spots/kloc-0. Many inscriptions and stone carvings were left by dignitaries, literati and Taoist immortals in the past dynasties. In the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a sunshade fort equivalent to the county-level regime, and the site still exists today.

Yang Zhe, known as the "Little Kongtong" of Zhou Min in ancient times, consists of three scenic spots: Xixi, Dongxi and Yimen Mountain. Xixi is composed of Jinjiagou and several forks, with a total length of 7.5 kilometers, which is the tourism essence of the whole mountain. There are more than 50 historical sites and natural scenery in the territory, such as Linxi Boulder, Yunsao Cave, Sanzui Stone, Inscription Cliff, Xianren Temple, Qingyang Cave, Bayinjing, Changjiadong, Xiqing Temple and Toad Stone.

There are many inscriptions by celebrities in the Song and Ming Dynasties in Xixi Scenic Area, because the handwriting is vague for a long time. However, the "Xixi" and "Yunzuodong" inscribed by Zhang Shunmin, a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, are still clearly visible, indicating the scenery. Zhang Shunmin once paid an official visit to the assistant minister of the official department and was famous for his integrity. He was exiled because honest and frank dared to speak out, and then moved to Yang Zhe. It can be seen that in the Northern Song Dynasty, this place has become a major attraction. There is a seven-character quatrain written by the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1530) in Cliff of Poetry.

According to legend, Zhang Sanfeng, a famous Taoist priest in Ming Dynasty and founder of Taoism and Daoquan in Wudang Mountain, disappeared in Jintaiguan, Baoji, and traveled to the "Little Kongtong" in Zhou Min, where he devoted himself to monasticism and spread the doctrine of the unity of Buddhism and Taoism, and finally jumped into Longtan, or the peak of jade bamboo shoots in the mountain, and became an immortal. The story of Sanfeng's appearance from Yang Zheshan adds a bit of mystery to this place.

Here, steep cliffs, lush shrubs, psychedelic caves, winding paths, beautiful mountains, beautiful peaks, flowing waterfalls, rare birds and animals and beautiful grasslands form a picturesque and wonderful landscape. Experts call it a rare polar region for tourism exploration in northwest China.
