What experiences can you miss on Dingpeng Island?
When traveling to Dingpeng Island, you can generally consider signing up as a group and setting off together by speedboat. The general travel time is around 10-15 o'clock, including snorkeling, seafood porridge for lunch, fishing, teahouse and other items. The departure point is usually at Qing'ao Bay Beach, near the Tropic of Cancer Square sign tower.
1. Encounter dolphins by speedboat
Generally starting from Qing'ao Bay, the speedboat can reach Dingpeng Island in 30-40 minutes. If you are lucky, you can also see dolphins, the number may be hundreds! You can search for dolphins in Nan'ao Island. There are many videos of fishing enthusiasts lining up to see dolphins, which is super awesome!
2. Snorkeling and swimming
It is no exaggeration to say that the seawater in Dingpeng Island is better than the seawater anywhere in the main island of Nan'ao Island. When the visibility here is good, it can reach five or six meters! From near to far, from light green to dark blue, you will have a deeper understanding of the blue of the sea.
3. Fishing & Casting a Net for Fishing
Paddle a small bamboo raft and follow the fisherman brother to cast a net for fishing around the island. Fishing gear is also available on the island, with limited quantities available on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Lunch & Teahouse
The island provides lunch seafood porridge, shrimp and crab condiments, very fresh and sweet!
Since Dingpeng Island is still a little far away from the main island of Nan'ao Island, the supplies are definitely not as abundant as the main island. If you want to eat well, you can either wait to go back to the main island to feast, or pray and cast a net to catch them. Catch more fish and get some seafood, or go directly to the surrounding fishing boats to buy!
There is a pergola on the island to set up a tent, with tables and chairs underneath as a teahouse. When you are tired from shopping or finished eating, have a cup of Chaoshan Kung Fu tea and watch the sea breeze. This is the real holiday enjoyment.
5. Travel season
Generally, May to October is better. The water is not good and the weather is sunny, so you can have a lot of fun. You can also go to the island in other months, but you can't snorkel and focus on sightseeing.
6. Restrictions on landing on the island
Here is the registration information for Dingpeng Island travel merchants: Due to limited resources on the island, only 100 people can be accommodated in a day. If more people are exceeded, they can only be rescheduled.
