There are seas on several sides of Shenzhen. There are Baoan District, Nanshan District and Yantian District near the sea.

Baoan District, which belongs to Shenzhen City, is located in the west of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, bordering the Pearl River Estuary in the west, Longhua District in the east, Nanshan District in the south, Lingdingyang in the west, Guangming District and Dongguan City in the north.
