Loudi City’s Ziquejie Terraces Scenic Area, Meishan Dragon Palace, Ziquejie, Xinhua Lion Rock Park, Youxi River Rafting Scenic Area, Xinhua Longwan National Wetland Park, Luo Shengjiao’s former residence, etc.

1. Ziquejie Terraces Scenic Area in Loudi City: Ziquejie Terraces began in the Qin and Han Dynasties and flourished in the Song and Ming Dynasties. They have a history of more than 2,000 years and are the ancestors of the Miao, Yao, Dong, Han and other ethnic groups. The fruits of labor created jointly by the people are the historical relics of the blending of southern rice farming culture and Miao-Yao mountain fishing and hunting culture.

2. Meishan Dragon Palace: It is connected to the Jiulong Peak and Jiulong Pond of Big Bear Mountain. Meishan Dragon Palace has a floor space structure with unique cave shapes and various combinations. It is equipped with both land and water. It has four floors of caves and eight floors of cave passages.

3. Purple Magpie World: magnificent, unique landscape, rich cultural connotation, and has high tourism value. Ziquejie belongs to the Fengjia Mountain system in the middle of Xuefeng Mountain, with the highest peak at an altitude of 1585.2m. Centered on the Ziquejie terraces, there are more than 5,300 hm2 of terraces. The concentrated contiguous terraces in Ziquejie are more than 1,300 hm2, with more than 500 levels ranging from 500m to 1,200m above sea level. The terrace slope is generally 30 degrees, with steep ones reaching over 50 degrees.

4. Xinhua Lion Rock Park: The terrain is composed of extremely lion-like and winding serpentine mountains. The park has beautiful mountains and clear waters, beautiful environment and pleasant scenery. Dozens of projects and pavilions, such as flying squirrels in the forest, aerial elevated vehicles, and the dangerous passage of the Lion Pavilion Wind Cave, are dotted among the mountains, rivers, and cliffs, allowing people who stay in the natural scenery to enjoy a little entertainment and leisure.

5. Youxi River Rafting Scenic Area: Located in Jiqing Town, Xinhua County, Hunan Province, it consists of two sub-scenic areas: Youxi River Rafting and Meishan Ancient Village. Youxi River Rafting Youxi River is the second largest tributary of Zijiang River in Xinhua, with a total length of 134 miles and 56 miles of developed scenic spots. It is the first rafting in the China Gorge.

6. Xinhua Longwan National Wetland Park: Longwan wetland resources are very rich, including river wetlands, lake wetlands, swamp wetlands and artificial wetlands. Permanent rivers, karst cave wetlands, permanent rivers, etc. Nine types of wetlands include freshwater lakes, seasonal freshwater lakes, herbaceous swamps, ponds, floodplain wetlands, aquaculture farms and rice fields.

7. Luo Shengjiao’s former residence: a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province. The former residence faces east and west. It is a wooden-orange building with double eaves. It was built in the 20th year of the Republic of China (1931).
