Xiamen travel recommendations:

Tickets are available from Guxia Pier to Neicuoao Pier and Sanqiutian Pier. The fares are 35 yuan/person and 50 yuan/person (including round-trip tickets). It is recommended to buy a ticket from Akita Pier to Shanghai Island for 35 yuan/person. It is recommended to choose Sanqiutian Ferry Terminal to Xiamen Ferry Terminal when leaving the island, and then you can visit Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street nearby. WeChat ferry tickets are purchased from the official WeChat account of Xiamen Ferry Co., Ltd. Due to the limited number of tickets and the large number of buyers, they need to be purchased in advance. Second, transportation within the island. There are tourist buses on the island, and there are usually many people walking.

About the food: I don’t think it’s anything special yet. It’s similar to other places in Xiamen, but the price is more expensive. Even a bottle of water is expensive. There are local people selling fruits on the street, which is okay.

2. Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street

About time: The play time is 2-5 hours, preferably 16:00-21:00 in the afternoon.

About the route: After leaving the island from Gulangyu Sanqiutian Pier, you can walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.

About food: There are many delicious things to see and eat. There are many specialty stores, flower tea shops, jewelry stores, and commercial complexes.

3. Nanputuo Temple

About time: It is better to visit Xiamen University in the morning (stay at Xiamen University and visit Xiamen University in the afternoon).

4. Xiamen University (Siming Campus)

About the route: West Gate of Xiamen University (near South Putuo Temple) - Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall, School History Museum, Lu Xun Memorial Hall (left side of the entrance) - Biology Expo (right side after visiting the second scenic spot) - Furong Lake (on the left after visiting the second scenic area)-Siyuan Valley-Furong Tunnel.

Note: U Xiamen University’s official WeChat account has recommendations, but some do not, such as the Marine Science and Technology Museum (first, you have to leave Xiamen University, second, it is difficult to find outside the school gate, and third, you can’t see anything when you look for it).

5. Zengcuo'an Village

About time: The tour time is 2-5 hours, preferably 16:00-21:00 in the afternoon, so you can enjoy the scenery during the day. You can also enjoy the scenery at night.

About the route: Enter from Zengcuo_Cunkou Archway, walk along the road, and go around in a circle (if you are worried about getting lost, you can navigate through Amap).

About food: This is an out-and-out food street in Xiamen. It is touching, has a rich sense of things, has a real sense of prices, and has great feelings.

6. Huangcuo Beach

About time: The play time is 2-5 hours, preferably 16:00-21:00 in the afternoon. You can also get up in the morning and watch the sunrise in the evening.

Reason: Compared with other beaches in Xiamen, there are fewer people, good water, and large beaches.

1. Accommodation recommendation: Accommodation in Xiamen is expensive. B&Bs generally start at more than 200 yuan a night, hotels generally cost 500 to 600 yuan a night, and there are many hotels that cost several thousand yuan a night. Maybe there are more people traveling in summer

I recommend a B&B near Zengcuo Village. It has the following advantages: First, it is convenient. The location is in the middle of major attractions. Where is the convenience? You can take public transportation, ride a private bicycle, or rent a small electric donkey. In addition, Zengcuo Village is mainly about eating, drinking and having fun, and there are many snacks. Second, it’s affordable. Housing is relatively cheap and so is food. The third is beauty. Many B&Bs are run by young people. Although it is an old house renovation, it is generally more exquisite. Whether it is exterior or interior decoration, many of them are quite individual.

Note: There are many B&Bs near Zengcuo Village, many of which are in Zengcuo Village. They are a bit difficult to find and a bit noisy. It is recommended to live in the periphery near Zengcuo Village.

2. Transportation recommendations: First, take public transportation. Xiamen’s No. 29 bus is called Universal because it can basically reach important scenic spots and is very convenient. The second is to ride an electric or exclusive bicycle. Except for the wide Huandao Road, the roads in other places in Xiamen are relatively narrow. You can rent a small electric donkey. You can rent electric donkeys in many places in Xiamen, and the price is not expensive.

It’s about 20 yuan per hour, and the deposit is about two to three hundred. Especially at night, it is very pleasant to ride a small electric donkey, blowing the sea breeze and admiring the night view. The third is driving. There are many luxury car brands in Xiamen and there are many spots, which is very convenient for friends who want to drive.
