Among a series of specific construction goals, there are two main goals related to the development of the automobile industry: one is to build more than 200,000 new energy vehicle charging piles.

According to the "Proposal", the construction of the charging infrastructure network system for new energy vehicles will be accelerated in the future. Accelerate the construction of public (dedicated) charging infrastructure in public service areas such as schools, hospitals and tourist attractions. Actively lay out the fast-charging infrastructure along expressway and national and provincial highways, and form an intercity fast-charging network connecting major cities in the province. Implement the demonstration project of "charging piles into communities" and promote the construction of centralized charging and replacing power stations.

In addition, the "Program" also mentioned the pilot demonstration of vehicle-road coordination. Explore the establishment of vehicle networking and vehicle-road collaborative testing, testing and certification standards, and promote the construction of "Sino-German cooperation intelligent networking vehicle and vehicle networking standards and test verification pilot demonstration" Sichuan base and smart expressway project. Carry out pilot demonstrations of vehicle-road coordination on Du Wen Expressway (Longchi Section), Chengdu-Ring Expressway, Cheng Yi Expressway and key roads of the Universiade.
