Introduction of Selangor

Selangor (é) (Malay: Selangor; Selangor, one of the thirteen states in Malaysia, is located in the middle of the west coast of Malay Peninsula, and Shahram, the capital, is a new city. Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are two federal municipalities in Selangor. Selangor and Kuala Lumpur are commonly referred to as Longxue. There are also many tourist attractions in the state. Port Klang is the busiest port in Malaysia, ranking first in the world in terms of throughput 15. The service industry accounts for 38% of Selangor's economy. Selangor is the most economically developed state in Malaysia. In 2008, the per capita purchasing power (PPP) of the gross national product (GDP) was $3,365,438 +0.47, much higher than that of other states. In 2008, the human development index was 0.907, which was equivalent to some developed economies such as Germany, Britain and South Korea.
