Libo karst is a typical representative of cone karst in the transition zone between Guizhou Plateau and Guangxi Basin. The most striking landscape of Libo karst is cone karst, and the most typical types are peak cluster karst and peak forest karst. Libo karst meets many standards of world natural heritage. Peak cluster landscape and peak forest landscape are arranged in order, showing mutual geomorphological evolution and gradual change; It has a special karst forest ecosystem and remarkable biodiversity, including many endemic and endangered animals and plants and their habitats; It represents the geological evolution and bio-ecological process of tropical and subtropical cone karst in Chinese mainland, and is an ideal place and natural testing ground to study the natural background of karst forest vegetation and the structure, function and balance of forest ecosystem in exposed cone karst development area. 90% of the population in this area are ethnic minorities, with rich cultural background, among which Shui, Yao and Buyi cultures are the main ones.

Chishui Danxia Waterfall

Chishui is the only national-level scenic spot named after the administrative region in the State Council. In February, 2009, Chishui City was included in the compilation scope of China's Danxia landform bundling application for world natural heritage, ranking first. 20 10 was officially listed in the World Heritage List.

Shibing karst

Shibing Karst, represented by Yuntai Mountain, has become the third world natural heritage site in Guizhou after Libo Karst and Chishui Danxia.

Shibing Karst World Natural Heritage Nominated Site, located in the north of Shibing, with a total area of 282.95 square kilometers, is completely incorporated into Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area, Cunningham Scenic Area and Cunningham Water Source Protection Area. There are nearly 400 rare plants and 0/00 rare animals. Shibing karst is a typical and complete dolomite karst landform developed on ancient and relatively insoluble dolomite. Peak-cluster canyon karst is the most typical one, and it is the most typical example of dolomite karst in tropical and subtropical regions in the world. Experts from the World Heritage Alliance believed that Shibing dolomite karst had "global uniqueness" and "unparalleled natural beauty" when they visited Yuntai Mountain.

Mount Fanjing

Fan Jing was named Brahma Pure Land, and was previously called Sangu. From 65438 to 0986, UNESCO accepted Fan Jingshan as a member of the global "Man and Biosphere" protected area network (China has only five member units). Selected as the second batch of China National Natural Heritage Reserve.

Fan Jing is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao counties in tongren city, the main peak of Wuling Mountain. 1986 is listed in the international network of "Man and Biosphere" protected areas by UNESCO, and is known as "the treasure of the earth and mankind". On July 2nd, 20 18, at the World Heritage Conference held in Manama, Bahrain, Fan Jing was approved to be included in the World Natural Heritage List, becoming the fourth world natural heritage site in our province after Libo Karst, Chishui Danxia and Shibing Yuntai Mountain. This also makes Guizhou the province with the largest number of natural heritage in the world.
