In July 1953, Yuxian Middle School was renamed Yuxian No. 1 Middle School. In August 1962, Yuxian No. 1 Middle School was renamed Yuxian Senior High School. 1978 In August, Yuxian Senior High School resumed operations. In September 1983, the school was renamed Yuxian No. 1 Senior High School. In August 1988, the school was renamed Yuzhou No. 1 Senior High School. In the initial stage of resumption of school operations, the school has offices, teaching offices, and general affairs offices. The Security Section was added in March 1991, and the Political and Educational Section was added in 1992. The school always insists on giving top priority to cultivating qualified socialist talents with comprehensive moral, intellectual, and physical development. It insists on quality education, trains students to adapt to the social environment of reform and opening up, and cultivates their patriotism, collectivism, and communism. ideals, strengthen socialist democracy and legal education, and make them a new generation of people in the construction of the four modernizations. Since 1995, the school has successively invested in the construction of computer classrooms, language rooms, closed-circuit television systems, 120-way telephones, and television monitoring for teaching management, enabling the school to initially realize the modernization of education and teaching methods and management. From June 1984 to September 1985, after the principal of the school was transferred, Vice Principal Yang Fuxin took charge of the administrative work of the school. In December 1997, the school had 140 faculty and staff and 2,200 students.
