Can all scenic spots in the country get veteran cards for free?

You can get a veteran card free of charge in all scenic spots in the country.

Servicemen hold officers' or soldiers' certificates, disabled people hold disability certificates, retired cadres hold retirement certificates, elderly people over 65 years old (including 65 years old) hold ID cards/senior citizen discount cards, children under 1.4m (excluding) or children under 6 years old, first-class British models and national moral models hold their valid certificates, and members of China Photographers Association hold their valid certificates. Those who meet the above conditions can be exempted from the large ticket fee for the scenic spot!

However, there are some limitations:

Geographical restrictions. Ex-servicemen can visit tourist attractions free of charge with preferential cards, which is not unified throughout the country, but a preferential treatment project for ex-servicemen launched by various localities in light of actual conditions. In other words, some places have it and some places don't. For example, on our side, ex-servicemen can really visit state-owned tourist attractions for free with discount cards. However, in some places, the implementation is relatively slow, and there is no preferential service in this regard.

Scenic spot restrictions. Not all tourist attractions will provide preferential treatment for retired military personnel, generally only state-owned tourist attractions. And those private tourist attractions, we don't have to think much, unless the boss is also a retired soldier, but also a generous retired soldier.

Restrictions on the identity of the holder. Some tourist attractions may give preferential treatment to special holders such as veterans over 60 years old, disabled veterans and three genera, but may not give preferential treatment to ordinary holders.

Restrictions on the number of trips. Some tourist attractions do offer free tickets for veterans, but there is a limit on the number of times. For example, each scenic spot only provides one or two free tickets a year, and the excess is borne by itself. On the Internet, I saw some comrades-in-arms say that their veterans can visit unlimited times with discount cards. Even if this is true, it is only a few areas.

Fare restrictions. Some tourist attractions will not offer discounts to retired soldiers without tickets, but they will offer discounts, such as 50% discount on tickets for each visit.

Restrictions on tourism projects. At this point, comrades-in-arms should pay attention to the fact that all tourist attractions in the country offer preferential treatment to veterans, which is limited to scenic spot tickets. After entering the scenic spot, other amusement projects will not give you any preferential treatment, so you have to pay for it yourself.

To sum up, there are six kinds of restrictive behaviors that may occur when retired soldiers enjoy preferential treatment in tourism with preferential cards. There are indeed many restrictions, but it is understandable, because the discount card is only a discount, not free, nor is it a "know-it-all".
