Guiyang Marathon is held every few years.

The holding time of Guiyang Marathon is not fixed.

Guiyang Marathon 20 17-20 19 Guiyang holds a marathon every year. The marathon will stop in Guiyang in 2020-2022 and restart in 2023.

Approved by China Athletics Association, Guiyang International Marathon is sponsored by China Athletics Association, Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau and Guiyang Municipal People's Government, and jointly undertaken by Guiyang Municipal Sports Bureau, Guiyang Tourism Industry Development Committee and Guiyang Guanshanhu District People's Government. The first Guiyang International Marathon started on 20 14.

There are three events in the competition: full marathon (42. 195km), half marathon (2 1.0975km) and mini marathon (3.5km). The competition route is mainly arranged in Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province.

Guiyang Marathon Description:

Full marathon route (42. 195km): Starting from Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Square, passing through Yuntan South Road, Guanshan East Road, Lincheng East Road, Zhu Jin East Road, Green Future and Guanshan West Road, and finally returning to Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Square.

Half marathon route (2 1.0975km): Depart from Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Square, and return to Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Square via Shilin East Road, Yangguan Avenue, Qianling Mountain Road, Qiantan North Road and Guanshan West Road.

Mini Marathon Route (3.5km): Depart from the departure gate of Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Square, and arrive at the destination via Yuntan South Road, Shilin East Road, Liu Cui Road and Aoxing Road.
