Yingzhou West Lake is one of them. It is said that Yingzhou West Lake is as famous as Hangzhou West Lake in history. I'm afraid many friends won't believe it. In fact, there were as many as 36 West Lakes in ancient times, but only four were the most famous. The four West Lakes are Hangzhou West Lake, Yingzhou West Lake, Huizhou West Lake and Yangzhou Slender West Lake.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that Yingzhou West Lake in Fuyang is not only as famous as Hangzhou West Lake in ancient times, but also bigger than Hangzhou West Lake, making it the largest West Lake in China. Why is ancient Fuyang West Lake worse than Hangzhou West Lake? Because Hangzhou West Lake is later than Fuyang West Lake. According to historical records, the West Lake in Hangzhou was officially built in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period (about 900 years in the park), when it was still in a closed place where no one repaired and aquatic plants spread. But as early as around 1040 BC, Fuyang West Lake was built by the royal family and officially became the West Lake Scenic Area.

Only later, from the Song Dynasty, because Hangzhou was once the capital, the scenery in the south of the Yangtze River was beautiful, and the scenery in the West Lake in Hangzhou was even worse. Coupled with the sad stories circulating here, the original intention of Hangzhou West Lake is deeply rooted in people's hearts, and famous poets in history also built dams here, so Hangzhou West Lake gradually brewed in the pen and ink of literati, and slowly "crushed" other West Lakes in fame. In fact, the popularity of Slender West Lake in Yangzhou may be second only to that of West Lake in Hangzhou. After all, the story of "Yangzhou March Fireworks" in Qing Dynasty is deeply rooted in people's hearts.

At present, the development of Yingzhou West Lake is not very good, and the scenic spot level is only 3A. I wonder if there will be better development in the future.
