Why is Yunnan different?

Let me answer this question.

In the past three years, I have lived in Yunnan in summer. Last August, I spent more than a month traveling in Yunnan. According to my experience and observation, Yunnan is different in the following aspects:

First, people live in different environments, including different climates, different altitudes, different landforms, and different customs and habits of ethnic minorities. Yunnan Province is the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in China, with an average seawall of more than 2,000 meters, while the elevation of Changsha where I live is only 10 meters. Yuelu Mountain, the highest mountain in Changsha, has seawalls of only 3OO meters and 0.8 meters. This geographical location is very different. If you fly from Kunming to Thailand, come to our country and lower the altitude, you will see that the vast land of Yunnan Province is almost full of rolling mountains and roads are surrounded by mountains. Because of the different geographical location, Kunming where I live is like spring all the year round. The biggest difference from the capital cities of China is that in summer, ordinary people don't need an electric fan at night, not to mention air conditioning, and they have to sleep under a bed. In summer, in Changsha, Wuhan, Chongqing and other stove cities, it is really a fairy's life to have a good dream at night. So I have lived in Kunming for the past three years. Rent a small hotel room in Chenggong District, Kunming (monthly rent 800 yuan), and take the subway to visit various tourist attractions in Kunming during the day. In the evening, I ate a buffet (12 RMB 14 vegetarian dishes) in a fast food restaurant near Chenggong Square and lived a very comfortable retirement life.

Second, Yunnan is the province with the largest number of ethnic minorities in China. There are 55 ethnic minorities in China, 26 in Yunnan, and some unique ethnic groups, such as Dulong. But the different national habits, customs and cultures formed by so many ethnic minorities have brought different feelings. The resulting different tourism resources make Yunnan a major tourist province in China. Therefore, the richness of tourism resources is unmatched by many provinces and cities. For example, in Old Town of Lijiang where Naxi people live, Naxi people built a Millennium Old Town of Lijiang according to their national customs and styles. It's antique, with small bridges and flowing water and picturesque steps. In the 1940s, Russian Peter Gu introduced Old Town of Lijiang to the world with the book The Forgotten Kingdom. Today, Old Town of Lijiang is not only a 5A-level scenic spot, but also listed in the World Cultural Heritage List by the United Nations. For example, Dali, where the Bai people live in Yunnan, is backed by Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake. They have formed different cultures such as life, diet and marriage for thousands of years, giving tourists wonderful enjoyment everywhere. For example, a white American house has three rooms, one facing the wall and a big yard in the middle. This unique building embodies the crystallization of the Bai people and the wisdom handed down from generation to generation.

Third, the special geographical location of the border has formed a unique economic and trade network in Yunnan Province. Yunnan Province is located at the junction of China, East Asia and South Asia. Adjacent to Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. At the same time, it is connected with Thailand and Cambodia through the Mekong River. It has close trade relations with ASEAN countries. Especially the boundary line is relatively long. On the border of more than 4000 kilometers, 25 counties are connected with foreign countries. Therefore, there are 23 exits of different sizes. Along thousands of kilometers of national boundaries, there are rich tourism resources. From Xishuangbanna to Ruili, Gao Jie, Tengchong, Hekou and other places, tourists like to clock in. Especially in Ruili, tourists will be surprised by strange tourist attractions, such as a hospital, two countries and a bridge.

The above is the uniqueness of Yunnan Province.

Please pay attention.

As a province of China, Yunnan itself has a very unique geographical position. Bordering Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Tibet, bordering Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam, there are many ethnic minorities living in compact communities. Coupled with its own low latitude climate, monsoon climate and mountain climate, there are seven different climate types: north tropical, south subtropical, middle subtropical, north subtropical, south temperate, middle temperate and north temperate.

First of all, it is adjacent to four provinces, all of which are places with rich tourism resources and strong cultural atmosphere. They form a tour group, each absorbing the essence and making Yunnan unique.

Everyone is familiar with Lijiang, Shangri-La, Kunming and so on. Needless to say. There are also Yuanyang, Jianshui, Dunno and other places with minority literature and art, all of which are good choices. In addition, the border with Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries has added an exotic atmosphere and made Yunnan more enchanting.

Another point that needs special attention is the issue of documents. If a friend wants to travel to the border areas of Nujiang, Dehong and other places, he can use the card to check his identity and luggage. If you want to leave the country, you should bring your passport, exit certificate and other related things. If you have a special occupation, you'd better bring your own relevant certificates, because many scenic spots have corresponding discounts for students, soldiers, journalists or teachers. Certificates are very important identification, and you must not forget them when you are away from home.

In addition, there are some famous natural scenic spots, such as Lugu Lake, Yulong Snow Mountain and Shilin. This is the favorite place of many photographers. These wonderful works of nature can make you take the most beautiful and wonderful photos and let you really enjoy walking in nature.
