What exactly is there to do when traveling? What healed you? pride and Prejudice?

I suddenly thought of this topic. I originally wanted to express my emotions, but after thinking about it for a while, I found that it had risen to the level of thinking about life! I can’t write about things that are too profound. Based on my ten years of travel experience, I will briefly talk about what exactly is traveling? Can it really cure you?

First, let’s talk about what exactly is travel? Of course we have to do it. How can we do it without moving? This creates a series of problems: eating, drinking, and defecation! A journey is a short, small life that you experience. Therefore, the so-called travel is life, living a life in an environment different from the one you are familiar with, eating different things, walking a different road, and maybe experiencing other people's lives. So in my opinion, the essence of travel is different spiritual perceptions and different physical experiences.

If you are in China, you can feel the differences abroad; if you are in the Northeast, you can feel the differences in the South; if you are at the seaside, you can feel the desert in the northwest; if you are in the east of the city, you can feel the differences. Take a look at the street scene in the west of the city; while you are in this university, you can experience the cafeteria of another university. So traveling is not just about going that far, traveling across streets and alleys, we are doing it every day. The question is whether you have discovered a different wisdom and heart.

So, what are you going to do when you go out for a trip and fall down? With the series of narrations just now, I think you already have some answers, which is to experience various differences. From urban architecture to scenery, humanities and folk customs, you can experience all kinds of differences.

From my personal experience, my first official trip was to Thailand. It turned out that I learned about the beautiful scenery and cultural conditions there through various channels. After I went there, I didn’t want to come back! Later, I traveled to many places one after another. From liking beautiful scenery to making sure to eat local food, finally wherever I go now, I make sure to understand the conditions of the local people, their national habits, etc. There has been a significant change in the mentality of self-study.

Of course, I support all kinds of travel methods, whether you are traveling independently or in a group! Regarding this point, many people are opposed to group tours! In fact, it is completely unnecessary. Each has its own benefits. You don’t understand other people’s lives or what they think. As long as you go out, it will be good.

So, can going out and experiencing something different really heal you? Why should the experience be different?

Each individual is relatively independent and has his own thoughts and life. At the same time, he is in a group similar to him, whether it is a nation or a country! It is precisely because of the existence of such groups one after another, and the barriers between these groups whether it is the natural environment, the barriers of ethnic customs, or even the barriers of beliefs and habits. Let there be prejudice and estrangement between various groups!

Why go out? It is just to let us see the differences, accept the differences, eliminate prejudices and barriers, right? At the same time, we can recognize ourselves more clearly. The so-called healing journey is a process of eliminating pride and prejudice and self-awareness.

Therefore, constant travel allows you to constantly understand the world, constantly eliminate arrogance and prejudice, and constantly heal yourself. Go out for a walk more often if you have time.
