Midui Village is located between Ranwu Town and bomi county in basu county, Tibet. Although Midui belongs to bomi county, it is much closer to Ranwu Town than to bomi county. The fork road from Sichuan-Tibet Highway to Midui is not marked, but this fork road is located between the "Midui No.1" and "Midui No.2" open tunnels of Sichuan-Tibet Highway, which is relatively easy to find.

There are buses passing through Ranwu Town in Chengdu, Changdu and Linzhi. There are youth hostels in the town, and each bed has a strong hot bath around 20 yuan. Off-road vehicles can drive all the way to Midui Village. It only takes about 2 hours to walk from the village to the glacier, and you can stay in Ranwu Town that night.

You can find someone to lead the way to the glacier in the village. If you want them to help you with your things, you'd better give them around 20 yuan. During the Golden Week, the village will collect 15 yuan from every tourist and give him a printed receipt.

Glacier ice's rice piles are as clean as jade, with beautiful scenery, different shapes and charming gestures. Surrounded by herds of cattle and sheep, quaint Tibetan dwellings, majestic snow-capped mountains, and wild animals such as reptiles and monkeys that never give up. Basic situation of the village where the scenic spots are located: There are three natural villages in Midui Village, which are rich in Cordyceps resources, and the income of Cordyceps reached 10,000 yuan in 2006.
